Return to stock ROM help! - HTC EVO 3D

Hey guys, so i downloaded the RUU for my 3d, and when i goto install it, it says "rebooting to bootloader" then "waiting for bootloader" then i get connection error 171. But i know that i dont have a bad connection because i wouldnt beable to get that far, because it has to verify what my image version is. Anyone else have this same problem? Thanks!

Searched XDA and did not find a solution, but I did find two sites that might help through Google:

I screwed up please help

OK so i thought the unlock process worked on my TP (sprint), i used the Raphael_CDMA_HSPL_037 program to unlock it.. Now something must have happened where i wasnt paying attention i guess and it wasnt unlocked.. But i went ahead and tried to flash a new rom to my phone.. After several tries and some errors i realize i never got it unlocked... Now i am trying to get it unlocked and its not working at all.. I keep getting a error [284].. Also im being told now im SOL and wont be able to unlock it... Can anyone help me out with this?
thanks in advance...
Have you posted this over at PPCGeeks?? That is where you should have gotten the unlocker from. It tells you which unlocker is for which version. If you havent posted over there, or checked out their website, I reccomend that you do.

[Q] [failed to boot 2] How i do ?

Hello everybody !
I wanted to install a new "ROM" on my device. I installed the "ROM" with "RCW" and everything went well.
But when I turn on the device again, the following message appeared:
"Failed to boot 2"
"starting mode rsd"
What should I do?
I tried to reinstall a "ROM" in "SBF" but the process to stop after a while and says "failed".
I also tried with "fastboot". Everything seems to be fine but the device shows the same message.
Any idea? Have i to unlock the "bootloader" again?
My device is an "AT&T" from "United States" and used in France. The latest version of "android" that I used was the official 2.3.4 updated "in the rules" with Motorola.
I just wanted to install a "ROM" more Sympathic. Until now I had just root the device and unlock the bootloader.
Thanks for all !
P.S: I searched around and tried many things. So I'm sorry if there is a post that I have not seen about it.

If the boot screen shows unlock on the top of the screen than u don't have to unlock the bootloader again.
You should check if you get the "unlocked" message on the top left side of your screen to ensure it is unlocked or not.
If it doesn't show anything, you should try to unlock the bootloader again.
Just be careful to not flash any rom through SBF before make sure you are not downgrading your Kernel version, or you will hardbrick your phone.
The Pudding (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1136261) thread and the Brick thread (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1160408) should give your more insights about this.
I'm searching for some screens and a thread explaining how to unlock the bootloader in the safest way. As soon as I find I'll edit my post.
Thank you for the answer.
I'm also looking on my side. The first is that the announcement to another.
Thanks again ;-)

[Q] Can someone help me, I'm bricked to "Security Error"

Can someone help me, I'm bricked to "Security Error".
I have the P769 Tmobile phone and Windows 8 x64. I can't figure out for the life of me how to get any of these tools to one get my phone back in working order and two rooted with boot loader unlocked. I really just wanted to put kitkat on this thing.
Yes I have read the guides...several of them
I can access sw download mode by the way.
Any help would be appreciated.
Hey,
yesterday i was in the same situation - brick phone with "security error".
I found here on xda a solution in thread:

You will need a stock LG rom and and files described in link. It works

HTC Desire X "Device is not recognized" in Bootloader

Hey Everyone,
After searching for days after a solution to my issue on this site and others I decided to get some personal feedback.
Because its my old phone and cause I want to have some fun with it i decided to root my HTC Desire X and proceeded to look for a tutorial on how. I learned that firstly I needed to unlock the bootloader thus I went to htcdev and followed the instructions all the way to the get token id part.
When I enter this into the CMD I receive a "waiting for any device" message and the PC gives me a popup saying "device unrecognised" which it doesn't do when not in bootloader.
I checked device manager and it says "device failed enumeration".
I have no idea what to do from here, I have tried installing various drivers and programs to no help and HTC Sync manager sometimes recognises the phone and sometimes not. I have heard it is a driver problem but people only say "do you have drivers" and perhaps I dont but I have no idea where to find them for windows 10.
Thanks for reading and I hope someone has an answer!
