I just took a look around the One X forums and was wondering..how many of their mods, roms or themes are able to be ported to our phone (with minimal rewrites)?
I'm not looking for a long term project, but it would be nice to have more crossover of themes and ROMs with them since I have very little imagination and even less sense of design.

I remember someone saying the themes should work across devices, not sure though. You could always nandroid and then flash a theme you like and see. If you have issues just wipe and restore your backup.
If you port from the One XL (since it has the S4 instead of the Tegra) you might be able to get a ROM going on this phone with a bit of effort.

I have a one x and have a friend that just rooted his evo I'm wondering if there is a mod like the one in the one x forums that will remap the multitasking key to a setting option? I will try to provide link if needed thank u!

I've posted elegancia dusk to the EVOLTE. See my thread in the theme forums. If you flash any of the one x themes, be sure you have a close to stock rom (omj, fresh) etc. You will have problems using those mods on viper

Can we port the app when the One X is docked that it switches to landscape? Wouldn't it just be the car dock app?

These are changes in the framework-res. Just changing the lockscreen images when normal, focused, and pressed. This is incredibly easy to do and once root hits I can have it ready in 2 minutes.

Some of this has already been done through skins. Check the 3.0 skins thread in EVO3d themes. Zone23, myself and a few others have done skins that change the lockring as well as the Rosie( have one that's transparent with glass icons) Someone has also done the android guy in place of the lockring. So check out the thread if that's what you're looking for.

Correct you don't need ROOT or to flash anything the lock ring is in /assets/m10. As stated I have made one with a blue android. Looks like EVOZone Blue v1 has it.
Whooo Hoo!! We have Perm Root!!! I hope we can get these up and running now, I'm ready to pay for the trouble.
I would like to see these as well I like how the androids mouth opens to swallow the app.

I don't normally entertain launchers as I am an adw lover but spotted this one today, http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1345601 thought I'd give it a look and I have to say I'm pretty impressed with the ICS theme which is available to download from within the launcher itself. There are some other themes available too but I was just looking for the ICS one, I haven't checked any other features out but I like the look and know some of you will too.

New version with lockscreen is awesome!
Sad that direct update from app doesnt work and on/off button doesnt work to unlock the screen, but instead trackball does it.
The best way to get custom themes to Swiftkey is to cast your vote. If enough members vote, we have a chance at implementing this feature in future releases.

I could be wrong, but I think you can find it in the market. Search ics keyboard and pick one. I am not sure if one of those is the one you want or not, but it's worth a try.

You could try it, but from what I've read, stuff written explicitly for GB usually FCs on ICS. I believe that Leedroid tweaks for ICS has the ICS Keyboard built in, so you could try flashing that.

The ZR rom was for GB I already look for the apk but I didn't find any keyboard apk.
