my friend recently bought S3 but today something went wrong with rear camera, an error when trying to lunch the camera ( error back call in camera)
the front camera still works. anyone can help me plz

URGENT: I have HTC touch dual. The front camera was working very well days ago. Just a few days it is hidden and did not find it on my mobile. The option of changing camera types from back to front is not found. I really made a soft and a hard reset but no change. The front camera is still hidden. Help me please, Thanks!

Hi medhat, afaik there is no solution for this, it just happens and sometimes your camera will be back and the next day it's hidden again.

GOD. I sent to the HTC support and they gave me the upgrade. I did it but the same is the same!!! NO WAY THEN?!!!

which camera are speaking about
1. the front camera is only VGA u need to be in good lighting condition to use it
and it is not great
2. the back camera is also not great as it is only 3Mpix but i did take a few piks it was ok but again u need to use it in good lighting conditions

Im getting an error while trying to use the back camera on my S3..
it says "Unknown error by ErrorCallback" when ever i open the camera. i can quickly change to the front camera and use it..
but cannot use the back camera!

Ive the same problem, went to FH ICS then FX JB, camera messed up then back to ICS then back to stock but camera still not working. gona hedy send it back to sammy unless someone has a fix

Hi again, i read elsewhere to remove the ext sd and format ur internal sd. Did that but still getting the errorcallback message and black screen. must be a hardware issue unless anyone else knows a fix. dont really want to be without my s3 for a week but i cant do without me camera
It's a hardware problem. Fixed mine by a few hard taps on the glass of the rear camera with my finger. Probably a sticky shutter..

You can flash updated firmware for your camera (be careful). Search a bit and save, roms have nothing to do with it.

Thank You so much at beginning i could not believe it will work...at end, It REALLY works !!!...Thank Youuu......
But, unfortunately, it does not work for long time as same problem returns back so i tapped hard on glass of rear camera again in order to work again .if there is new idea reply on me . thanks in advance

I recently had a burn-in problem on my Galaxy S2. I went to Samsung Service center on 2/July/2012 for a solution and they replaced my S2' Display. I got my S2 today from service center. (Yup it took them about 1.5 month to replace a display ! Damn ! ) . But when i got my S2 from them i saw some scratches on Camera lens i was like WTF! . I asked a guy in the service center about this matter but he replied " Sorry sir,
i will replace it for you but it will take some time, I said - hmm ok but when ? He replied back - 3-4 days.) I went out from center.
When i came back home. I transferred some new music files to phone from pc and started the music player. I realize that there is no sound.
I plugged in my headphones and got sound. Then somehow i noticed that there is no loudspeaker in the handset !
Now what should i do ? Can i post on consumer court for this ?
or tell them about this too along with camera lens replacement ?
btw warranty period is over now.
Wondering how this can happen, Maybe a careless technician replaced my S2 Display and forget to place back loudspeaker ?
I already hard reset my phone and flashed a ressurection remix 1.1 but no avail.
I am damn sure loudspeaker is not there !

You must go to service center and talk to the manager about it, He may listen to your problem and resolve it.
Except you can try this app to check if your hardware is okay or not..

is there any app that can check if there is Loudspeaker present on your handset on not ? btw i am getting only 1 bar on 2G where is used to be full 4 bars tried with different sims but max bars i can get is 2

First thing u shud check before getting out of the service center is 'evrything is wrkin fi9 or no also if there are any damamges done by the service center like scratches etc"
u can call the corporate office and contct the person who handles the service centers
also first get in touch with the service center manager.
i got this problem with the service center too when i got my old Galaxy i9003 SL.. first, i got the camera all fixed, then the loudspeaker started not to work.. so i sent it back to the service center to get it all sorted out, total time the center used to get my phone fixed was like 4 months :| and when i got my phone back, the touch panel didn't work anymore.. sent it back again, and they said that im finally gonna pay them like Php8'000 because it was out of warranty.. i feel ripped off man. tsk.
but i eventually got the touch screen working, i did some magic inside,
anyway, you're at luck if your phone is still on warranty complain to the manager lol

I can't connect them because its closed today (umm sunday
So i have to pay them to get my phone working all over ?
I mean they did this all and make my phone faulty.
Things which are not working or functionally abnormal are-
Loudspeaker - removed
Getting weak signal 2bar max as of now.
Camera behavior is changed in macro mode

talk to the manager or the franchisee owner
if no reply from them then get this issue to corporate

i got full refund for my Nokia n900 after a year of use and then bought a s2
I have a Mega i9205. I bought it second hand with a broken front screen. I bought a new LCD/digitizer off Ebay and fitted it OK.
I had no problems with the phone until I received an update for 4.4.2 KitKat last week. I installed it and since then my touchscreen does not respond at all. I tried a factory reset but this did not help.
Any ideas? Can I restore 4.2.2 stock ROM? I tried to using Odin but get a Fail error
My phone is NOT rooted.
I am not technical in any way so please go gentle with me!

No nothing you can do. Look at my thread in the general section. If you still have a time frame for returning the screen you have on now I would do that. There is an oem screen available for $90 on ebay

hey guys I know im new here but I figured out how to fix this issues a week ago I had no idea it is such an issue I am uploading a how to video to youtube as we speak its processing right now this method works on all the megas except the sgh-i527 due to there not being any recovery!
