I am looking for an Inverted (Black Background) Stock HTC MMS, Contacts, and Dialer. I would like the apps to stay stock except for the backgrounds to be black and the text being white. I am currently on the WildShooter Rom. The MMS has the extra features of the of the secure box. Please one of the amazing devs / themers make this for me. I searched the forum for a mod like this but didnt find one for sense 3.0. The closest thing I found was the Go Contacts ex. There was a couple things I didn't like about the GO Contacts Ex, I purfer the stock apps. Thank you in advance.

Only thing I found that is closest to what you wanted...

does have some optional for inverted and/or transparent...
Hope it helps,
jd
Thank you for your quick response. I did see that one and it is close. I tried it out and thats what I am using now but It's not stock. I also seen the thread black background MMS. What I am looking for is the stock app look and feel with black backgrounds and white text.
For the MMS I like the black background with white text and white divider lines. i would keep the message bubbles stock I would also want the extra features and secure box option. I would like the Contacts and the dialer to look the same. The keypad on the dialer I would like black buttons with white numbers and letters. I dont like the transparent backgrounds or very much color.
Steel whipped one up the other day ---> http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=20553267&postcount=33
It works fine, just don't use a skin. It changes the background to white with white text if you do that.
Phone is samsung fascinate (SCH-I500), eh03
Recently installed SC3 milestone 2 and my sms notification icon has changed to a grey envelope (same as email) and not the green smiley face. Also, when looking at my messages, the color of sent/received are now a washed out blue/yellow color...
I use golauncher and the default sms app. could never really get used to gosms or handcent.
Is there anyway to get the appearance of the sms and the notification back to the default?

I use SC3 M2 too, but i rarely use my fasci to call/sms, so i don't really understand about your problem...
my suggestion is you install gosms and change the notification that you want, while to texting you can use default sms app...
I hope my suggestion can help you a little
I actually installed handcent and have been using that, like it quite a bit so it solves my problem. I might try GoSMS if I have any problems with handcent, read about some MMS not going through, but as of right now I'm set.
I have noticed for a long time now that since ICS and JB, the stock messaging app has an option for background color which shows a black or white "T" implying its for the text. I have changed this many times and it never seems to do anything since my Galaxy S1 days. What does it really do and does it work for anyone? I don't like the stock messaging app black background in the conversation list and if this is supposed.to change that, then I want to fix it.
bump anyone?
Hi guys!
Just got my Honor 7 on Friday (B180 update, I'm using Google Launcher and Gmail rather than the stock default) and liking it as a cheap upgrade from my Nexus 4!
One problem that is annoying me. The Notification screen.
Trying to read the Subject line in the notifications screen is hard as the background is a dark grey and the text is in black:
The sender is in Bold White (easy to read)
The Subject lines are in black. (Very hard to read!)
The Summery is in a light gray/blue(?!?) (Easy to read)
Any way of altering the Notification background colour/ transparency. Or even the "subject line" text colour?
Is their a theme to change the notification area?
Thanks!

Change the theme dude
So, on my note 8, I used a them called (red) strokes. On the S10+ my text messages are white on teal, and the received are like white text with a light grey bubble, incredible difficult to see, and the background is white.
But that them includes the red keyboard...
So, is there anyway to customize just the messaging app background and text bubbles, and or the keyboard colors independently of downloading an entire theme?
Is there a way to modify my theme without somehow magically being accepted into the Samsung Theme developer thing that they have, to gain access to samsung theme editor?
Perhaps try a different messaging app? Android Messages is a solid choice with light and dark theme options. Of the third party apps, I'd recommend Textra or Pulse which have many options such as light or dark and accent color choices.
