I've been using and rooting android since my HTC g1. For the li - Galaxy S III Q&A, (US Carriers)

I've been using android since my g1. But for the life of me I can't get the wallpaper to be in a landscape mode. Anyone know how.

Dodol wallpaper maker from the market is a good app. There may be a free app that works just as well.

qHD Enabled Gingerbread Keyboard

I really enjoyed the themes blacked out gingerbread keyboards. But they look crazy small on the EVO 3Ds qHD screen. Has anyone found a workable solution that can be installed simply from pushing an .APK file? I like the HTC keyboard on this phone. It's slot more responsive because of the processor I'm sure. But i really want a correctly proportioned gingerbread Keyboard. #help. Sidenote, I tried searching the forums but nothing showed up.

I downloaded "Keyboard from Android 2.3" by Steven Lin from the Android market. Does the job for now.

This is the one I'm using. Works fine.

That one is still showing smaller than the regular keyboard flomexico.

App screen size?

Some apps are not normal size, they are very small when opened, so I was just wondering if anyone had that problem with some apps?

Yup. They need to update their apps.

That sucks so bad....
Is there no app that can resize for you?

You're not alone. Some apps can be made to fit the screen by installing spare parts and unchecking the compatible mode.
Thanks a lot this worked on like half my apps

[Q] white screen

Hopefully someone can help me. I'm running nils latest ics build and if I change the boot animation it will play the animation but every few frames the screen will go completely white. Sometimes when I'm using the browser it will do it as well. Is this the blue flicker everybody talks about or is it something different?
Well I tried it on my rezound with a cracked screen and it does it too. I even switched roms and it does it so I'm not sure what it is.

r u on the new firmware?its not the blue flicker

Yes I flashed the latest leak. If I rotate from portrait to landscape I can usually get it to stop in the internet browser. As for the boot animation I tried a few and they all do it but if I switch it back to the one the Rom comes with its fine

mine does not look like that
I have 2 rezounds that do it so I don't think its hardware but I can't figure out why its doing it. The browser does it when I'm on a webpage that's has a lot of white in it. I tried dolphin browser and it does it too.

could be the rom?
I can't post in the Rom thread yet but I redownloaded the animations and a few of them don't do it now but it still don't explain the browser whiteout
Sent from my ADR6425LVW using XDA Premium App
I think I've narrowed it down to it being some of the animations don't jive well with ics cause they all worked when I was running nils gb rom. I downloaded 10 different ones and some work and some don't.

I'm glad your getting some idea of it though
Sent from my Dinc... I mean Rezound
Yeah I don't understand why they work on gb and not ics unless its kernal related. I'll admit though I know just enough about android to get me into and out of trouble

Wifi Direct

How do you use it. I turn it on and attempt to connect from my pc but it always asks for a password?? I don't see anywhere to set this password.
Sent from my htc_jewel using Tapatalk
I think it is a function with no app that yet supports it. Its newer than NFC, I think. Kinda waiting to be tapped into. No apps on the market for it.

Just wondering if someone knew if Facebook home will be available for RAZR or if it will be ported one day?

I highly doubt that it will be available without some assistance. On the flip side thou, I tried Home out on my wife's Galaxy S III and hated it...it takes over your phone and everything is Facebook! It is a little overkill...I dont need to see my friend's kids at swimming lessons when I power on my phone.
Yeah now that you it it that way I agree lol
Sent from my XT912 using xda app-developers app
It takes over your phone with all it's data I would recommend not using it because then Facebook has access to your phone data and that is bad in my eyes

I think i found something..
