I have seen many questions related to this topic but I didn't find any useful answers. I searched in some links for source code but they are not straight forward and its hard to implement. Does anyone have an idea how to get the battery usage per application. I am so glade if I get a useful replay. Thanks.
I want to implement battery usage per application in code. So I need idea how I should work to get this. I am not searching for app shows battery usage. I want to implement one such app.

OP wants source code. Otherwise, he could always go to Settings ~> About phone ~> Battery use. And, a pop-up links to it when battery goes low.

first... READ, then... READ SOME MORE, and then.... READ EVEN MORE!!!
after that... read here: [APP] [02 May - V1.8.1] BetterBatteryStats
and then check the commits of that app https://github.com/asksven/BetterBatteryStats
oh and... Good Luck!
You can from onexuan.com download the "One Power Guard" app , you can see the battery usage of each application.

Hi all,
This is my first time posting in this forum but after reading some of your replies in the main thread, I figured that I'd give some of my input too
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1486199
Defect list
- Video call not working unless used with 3rd party apps (Skype etc) [KNOWN]
- High battery drain using 3rd party video calling apps [KNOWN]
- No Swype feature, I thought this was supposed to be a stock feature with all mods/custom roms but Foxhound doesnt have it for some reason.
- Voice search on Google/Google Search widget doesnt record voice and always shows an error
- Attaching media to SMS via share option doesnt attach on first try. I'll have to create an SMS and then attach pics, files etc thru the msg rather than the other way around. This worked great in ICSrewd and some other ROMS but not on this one.
Otherwise I'm pretty satisfied with the ROM, its quite stable and has given me the best battery life I could ask for even running live wallpapers. My average battery time varies anywhere from 16-21 hrs depending on light to moderate usage.
I watched 3 movies back to back and was still left with 30% charge on the phone.

(w.e your question is)
You really should ask the developer, which he isn't in this forum.
Check the i9100 section.

I tried to but since this is my first post ever, I cant post directly into the Android development forum or is that not what you were referring to?
By the way how do I contact the dev directly? or is that not possible?

You need to post in the I9100 forum....go to the very top right of the screen where it says "FIND YOUR PHONE" and type in I9100 and find the thread your looking for.
Got it! Thanks

So it wont install.
anyone knws to patch a NOKIA app?
Sign up to Nokia Beta, then You can get it from there.
I have a question regarding this app. What kind of ressources is it using? Is it like a service running in the background monitoring what's going on. Or does calling texting and using mobile data leave an entry in a log which is read out by this app.
I'm just worried about ressource usage regarding battery life

I'm using it for a few days now, but didn't notice any change in battery life. It doesn't do that much ofcourse, just count things.
Hi,
I've recently updated my Tasker, and realized, that everything I previously had in the old version now seem to be unvisible. The tasks and events I had before the update are still active, but if I open Tasker, they just dont appear, so I can't edit or delete them. Tasker says additionally in the notifications bar, that no profiles would exist. Phone-reboot was not helpful, the problem still exists. Is there anything known I can do to solve this?

Well, I think I'll better leave my thread separated, since the one aforementioned is 101 pages long now, and thus it suffers a bad overviewability. I think the admins would welcome my decision.

101 pages means there is a lot of chat going on. You have only had me reply to your question so far, so you tell me what is better lol! Regardless of risking it being overlooked, that is a more appropriate thread. This thread is not a support thread for Tasker. Just because you're using said apps on the DNA does not mean you will be assisted with every app you download. I still stand by my decision. You might also want to contact the creator of Tasker @ this email [email protected]

Not a matter of taking up space but a matter of following the rules you agreed to when you joined the site.

Dear Socim,
I have installed your room on my E120l. It is a great job. Thanks a lot to you. :good:
But it has some several bugs need to fix. I m sure it will make this room outstanding if you give your valuable time to fix those things. I am going to mention the exact bugs which need to fix.
1. People hear too low if i use headphone.
2. Video camera quality is too poor.
3. Screens blink out slightly some times.
4. Downloads and OS services always use internet traffic when its enable.
5. Consume too much battery power.
I wish you will reply my thread as i am not able to post on your thread.

Doesn't really make sense why you are posting here instead of the Q&A forum for your phone. HellKat is based off of CM11 which isn't considered stable, and for a phone that isn't officially supported, so bugs are to be expected.
1) Try checking out Viper Audio.
2) This was addressed in the thread, if you would have searched for it. Was suggested to try Camera JB+ as a replacement.
3) This was referred to as well. Go to Developer Options and uncheck HW Overlays.
4) I don't get it...why wouldn't they use the internet?
5) Everyone uses their phone differently with different apps. What makes you think it's the rom and not some apps or settings you have enabled? Without posting any advanced battery stats, saying I have battery life issues is pointless. Check out some apps like Gsam Battery Monitor, Bettery Battery Stats, or Wakelock Detector.
