Hi Guys,
recently purchased a Nexus 7. It is my first tablet and first Android device and I love it.
I have some specific questions I cant seem to resolve, perhaps you can help me.
I'm running the stock JellyBean version that came with it, albiet with one OTA update 4.1.1 build number JR003D
any way here we go...
1) In the 'People' app I see all my contacts. Some of which I have connections with over a number of accounts...Skype, facebook, LinkedIn, whatsApp etc etc. I see a little green circle next to names that are online, but how do I know which service they are online for? I cant seem to work that out...
2) in the native Gmail App I am trying to send a note to one of my predefined groups. In the browser, I just type the name of the group....and it recognizes...in the App on the Nexus 7 doing this is not recognised....I actually do not know how to send to a gmail group from there...is it possible?
3) Once you select an option for program to open a file (asks you to do it 'just once' or 'Always') can you 'undo' this selection as I made the wrong one and now I'm stuck opening files that way.

Greetings. I am new to this forum and i am sorry if i make some mistakes.
I am developing a network that will have a welcome screen right after the Wifi connection of the device. The welcome screen is an html file that is downloaded from the router. When i try this system on IOS platform a captive portal screen (pseudo browser) is launched and read the HTML file.
Android platform on the other hand is only pop up a notification that is required to tap in order to open the html file (launching an installed browser)
Is it possible to force the device to automatic launch browser without poping the notification?

I have a Nexus 5 running 4.4.4
I regularly share media with only 3 or 4 apps. However my "share with" list is now huge,with every app wanting to be on it, seemingly for no reason!
Is there any way to edit / shorten this list?
I've searched all over, the only app I could find to do what I wanted was "Andmade Share" - but unfortunately it hasn't been updated in 18 months and doesn't work with 4.4.4

is there a way to connect the Zenwatch to a Windows 8/10 device?
I have updated my phone to the win 10 preview and just got my zenwatch... i forgot to check if it is compatible
so now i did the check and is seems not.
So i have a few questions before i send it back. Is there a way to connect them? Maybe trough a custom ROM?
Is there an API i can develop an WIndows APP against? If there is i would probably try to develop my own sync app for windows as a weekend project.
I really like the feel and look of the watch but i dont own a Android device and dont wish to buy one. My next device will probably be a Lumia again.
So does that really mean i cant use any android wear devices?:crying:
