software - AT&T Samsung Galaxy S II SGH-I777

is there any software that can restore apps in a batch format without asking for confirmation that "do you really want to install app" for each and every app.

Titanium backup, you need the licensed version to do a batch restore.

Rom toolbox or gobackup or mybackup

Batch restore app+data is also available in free version and i have used it as well, but the problem is, it is very annoying to confirm each and every installation

But seriously, TiBu is your best bet (@OP).... just as everyone mentions, it was the first app I ever splurged on and I haven't regretted it since. Plus the dev. releases regular updates and is always adding new features such as being able to backup your calls, texts, mms, wifi ap's, etc. to xml files. Wouldn't be caught dead without it.

I agree -- I recently screwed up my APN settings and then remembered that TiBU backs them up. A quick restore and all was back to normal. The backup of these system settings are a very nice feature.

as soon as someone cracks the apk, we'll install it, then after a week or so they'll release an update that cuts us out... unfortunately, its probably not gunna happen, and if it does, it wont last long

[Q] Device Management - Anyone know what this is?

See screenshots... woke up my sgs2 to find an unbefore-seen set of up-and-down arrows in the upper left of my notification bar. Slide down and selecting it does nothing. Reboot the phone and it comes back. I can find it in running apps and force stop, but can't clear the notification. Anyone have any ideas?

Cerberus Security App

I just wanted to let everyone know that this excellent security app is offering FREE life time memberships (licenses basically) until February 29th to mark having a hundred thousand users. To get it, just install the apk, create an account, than go here:
https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/viewform?formkey=dFR4VHNka3czd2FJV2FIaXFYTHp0aGc6MQ
The best thing about Cerberus is it's root permissions to do things like force GPS on if it's off, take pictures if people try and access your phone and email the picture to you, and of course send it's location to you along with standard wipe my phone functionality. Definitely worth checking out. You can find it in ROM Manager or on the Market. If you get it from ROM Manager it will install the apk into your system apps so that it survives factory resets and will still provide all of it's functionality.
Oh and I'm sourcing the find to Android Police.

If it works very well/very polished, don't see why you'd say that then. I don't know anyone who doesn't use fb, techies included.
If XDA made a launcher, I wouldn't use it most likely either unless it had more options than the current launchers on the market. I sure as hell wouldn't go around saying this launcher is just for the techies though.
I don't see the harm in trying it out. I backed the Chameleon launcher and used it for awhile on my nexus 7. Then I tried it for awhile on my N2 when it came available. I'm not currently using it on either, but I don't see any harm in trying it out.

Most of you are replying about the launcher, where as I see his question is : "Anyone going to get the home?" meaning the phone itself.

I think the more important thing is the material. I hear that you wont have much luck with polyester. Wool might be the way to go, if you can deal with the itch.
