Basically, my Fascinate thinks the USB cable is plugged in when it isn't.. I odin'ed back to Gingerbread, back to ICS and it's a pain the balls since I always have a hard time getting into DOWNLOAD mode or just getting it to boot.. Battery image will pop up and boot loop most of the time when I power on the phone..
So my question is, can the phone be saved or is it trashed?
Have you tried How To Recover Your Fascinate From Any Brick, And Rooting Methods
Here
Hope it helps
Yea, numerous times, still have the same issue..

I was going to wipe the cache to help with my phone having slowed down quite a bit. When I got to the recovery, I was thoroughly surprised to see this:

}
The last time I went to wipe the cache, I ended up holding the buttons for too long and did... something. All I know is my phone vibrated a few times and then rebooted, but nothing was messed up so I assumed I did a cache-clearing key combination. I've never had something like this happen to me before (I'm new to non-nexus Samsungs).
At the bottom, all I can read is "[...]cation failed" and I can still use it like normal.
I have a htc one max and i need help with it.

Hello everyone,
I just wanted to boot up my old smartphone Samsung Galaxy S3.
Then after starting the device, there comes this strange screen, instead of a boot logo:
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",
"lightbox_stop_slideshow": "Stop slideshow",
"lightbox_full_screen": "Full screen",
"lightbox_thumbnails": "Thumbnails",
"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
But when I press the known button combination, I can access the download modus:
I tried to flash the latest official rom on this device, but after a restart,
I get this strange boot screen again.
Does anybody have an idea, what to do?
That is a hardware fault. Sorry to bear bad news but the phone has come to the end of its lifespan. Time to upgrade because it will cost you more than the device is worth to fix.
Beamed in by telepathy.
Hello all, I have the Nord N10 and I tried booting my device into recovery mode, I have not installed anything custom yet no apps what so ever. I get to the boot screen with keyboard and one plus logo. The on screen keyboard is frozen. And everytime I attemp a "hard battery reset" it comes right back to the screen with a frozen keyboard. If anyone knows of any way to fix this that would be wonderful.

:::UPDATE:::: apparently connecting it to my PC and force hard reset on the battery unfroze the key board. All is good thank you anyway.
