Almost every GSM ROM has 4G. You just need the APNs..
I tried almost all roms and here in Canada only king cobra' s working with 4g.
Nothing to do with apn settings.I think rogers is using some different trick...Europeans Roms works only with 3g.

Trust me, Rogers isn't using some 'trick.'
I'm on Rogers and it is due to APN settings.
Just flash a ROM and fix the APNs. Lmao.
It works. Trust me.
i use same apn settings on all roms and trust me only king cobra's working on 4g.anybody else with same issue?

Do you think its because all roms show H instead of the 4G icons except king cobra?

1. do you have a 4g sim card?
2. is your service provider putting you on a 4g data plan?
These questions are for your carrier.
Of course I do sorry I forgot to mention but everything works fine on every other roms I tried, I'm now running quicksence 3.0 and I work prefect

I am about to buy my girlfriend an Evo V 4G on virgin mobile because she doesn't want to be locked in a contract anymore. I was thinking of getting the Evo V 4G, but my only question is, would you be able to root it the same as the Evo 3D and would you be able to install a custom ROM on it too?

Umm, if you could root it, then yes, you can put roms on it, if there are dev's making roms for that phone.

Yes you can root and I'm pretty sure most Evo 3D CDMA roms will work maybe without MMS.

Maybe a stupid question, but will any devs be working on a rom for this phone? The sprint 3d roms are fine, but having mms as well would be awesome.

Don't necessarily need a new ROM. Just a fix for MMS.

Very true. Would they just implement that fix in the regular evo 3d roms as well?

Harmonia seems to work perfectly. Thanks so much. I spent a lot of time looking for a working rom, to no avail.
I need to know soon, cause I might trade my phone to a guy that is switching carriers from Verizon. My phone is s-off running cleanrom 4.5. What do I need to do?
ICS Rezound.
Read the threads on GSM support.

to what carrier? No hspa support for t-mobile and at&t is wonky at best.
These are not gsm based phones so trying to get them working is a headache.

None, now. But for future reference does 3G and SMS/mms work for t mobile?
ICS Rezound.
Look in the GSM threads, they will tell you.
Flash any sense 4 rom then look up the gsm patch from the GSM thread in the Q&A section, its linked on the first post.
Or you can.just flash the MIUI rom in the dev section, its gsm based and active out of the box.

Or you could check the MIUI thread in the dev section. I think MIUI works out of the box for GSM carriers, except for some data bands.

If you flash MIUI or the SMS fix on a Sense 4 rom, you can get SMS and MMS working on a GSM carrier, but none of the GSM carriers in the united states will get 3G on the Rezound. Including T-Mobile

I would assume so. Cause if I don't have 3G available it won't send.

Look at the address in Settings/Mobile Data/Access Point Names/Internet under MMSC. See if it is an address that makes sense. Like the one for Verizon is: http://mms.vtext.com/servlets/mms
I am on the latest radio and firmware from the 3.15 RUU, and tried every 'stock' android ROM that I could find and none of them have working LTE. Am I doing something wrong, and if anyone has a stock android ROM with working LTE please let me know the name of it.

Thanks, it is a really nice ROM too boot. And 4.1.0.0 fixed the mic issue I believe, I can make calls fine.
Works fine on Tranquility. I use it every day.
While running 10.1.3-d2dpr, I can send MMS while connected to 3G but not 4G. I've searched the forums and can't find anybody with this exact issue. Any ideas? I understand Sprint is currently updating antennas in the area. Could that be the cause of this issue?
