I am using HTC One X actually.
Is there any possible solution to extract original gallery apps in Galaxy S III and install in One X?
I really love that face recognition function.
Please help:fingers-crossed:

sorry I mean the system gallery in Galaxy SIII
While I'm not certain, I imagine the face recognition is tied into the TW framework, since it integrates with contacts etc.

I want to do the same whit my s3, if u discover how to do it please tell me! :good:
why would you want to do that?
the samsung phone and contacts have a lot more functionalty
Because their UI design is horrible. I like the fullscreen phone call. Also the native sms is nasty looking.
Bump this. I want to know how too.
I really tried to search for this before posting. However, I could not find it. Galaxy Note 2 Splanner apk port for Asus Tf201, is it possible?

Likely not... Most of Samsung's apps are very tightly wound into the TouchWiz framework. I doubt we'll be seeing any of them ported to any devices...

Too bad. My girlfriend has a galaxy tab 2, and i really like the floating apps.
Hello everyone, I am new to the xda-developers forums. I currently have an iPhone and I will be switching over to the Galaxy S5 come Saturday. The only thing I will miss about my iPhone is the emojis. I know Samsung has made their own emoji keyboard with a recent update. I was wondering if someone could point me in the right direction to getting the iOS emoji keyboard for the Galaxy S5 (where emojis will show up every where and not the android ones)? Hopefully it will be the route where I will not have to root my phone.
Thanks everyone
maybe is not possible

If you don't want to root or flash a custom recovery the only solution I see would be to use an alternative keyboard which has iOS emojis.
This would be perfect for what you want: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2618523
But you need to root your device !
Cheers
This app has Apple emoticones support: http://forum.xda-developers.com/android/apps-games/app-stock-messaging-sliding-ui-extra-t2825144

Whats a flash custom recovery? And if i were to use the alternative of finding a keyboard with iOS emojis, will those emojies appear as they do in the keyboard when I use them lets say in the notepad app or something? Or will the android ones appear once typed? Sorry, I'm a noob when it comes to androids.

How easy is it to root my phone? Is it like a one click thing with a program like a jailbreak?

First off, try the above app and see if it fits your needs. No root/custom recovery needed.
Can someone link me to an AT&T s5 root thread? My iPhone is so slow and it's taking forever to search

Hi all!
I'm just wondering if I were to root my S7 Edge would I then be able to go into system files and edit the standard emojis? If yes, would I then be able to use them online on Facebook and Instagram etc and would other people see them as the customised version?
Kind regards
Steve

I didn't actually understand what u said.
But emojis depends on keyboard mostly.
If u install google keyboard latest or emoji add-ons for them,u will have lots of emojis installed.
Hello,so i have searched the internet for a working Samsung Gallery App that can be used on non-samsung devices and have had no luck at all. Has anyone managed to port or mod the latest Samsung Gallery app to work on any Android phone? Please point me in the right direction if it has been done.
