How do I create a save in this game?

Thanks guys. I have a shedload more questions:
1. How do I turn the radio on when I'm in a vehicle?
2. How do I look at what my current mission is after I go away/pause for a while and then come back?
3. What are "horn" and "skidmark" icons meant to do? They don't seem to do anything when I press them.
EDIT: found out these are handbrake and horn.
4. I don't seem to have any sound whatsoever when I'm in-game - only the title music when the credits are up at the start? I have checked and music vol and sfx vol are at 79% (the default).
Also, I'm kinda gettin a bit hacked off that the game freezes and crashes every 10mins - it's like you complete a mission, and then before you can get back to the safe house it crashes... anything I can do to prevent this?
Uninstall game and make sure you download the additional files in one go. Fixed sound issues and crashing for me. Think some corrupted files

So I just came across this nifty little app that apparently has on demand episodes of a very very large volume of shows. Little ad box at the bottom of the screen, but acceptable for just TV shows here and there.
WiFi recommended. Maybe if we had real 4G it wouldn't be necessary...

Yeah, some videos aren't perfectly synced or perfectly smooth (particularly jersey shore), but I wouldn't be watching my favorite shows on this anyways. Maybe just willy nilly at the gym...

that apk doesn't allow you to watch videos in the app
It appears I was able to pick this up in the small window that it was on the market...I'm currently trying to find a way to edit the default resolution of the app, as right now it is not taking advantage of the Atrix's increased resolution and it's not filling the bottom of the screen, anyone had any luck with this yet?

Actually DG's Adeo "ROM" took care of this for me , it also de-odexes your system and adds a few power options...check it out!

I'm more than happy to deodex my system, but theres no way to REodex just yet. It can potentially lead to update problems. I see no real benefit to deodexing. I don't really care for the reboot (although would be very nice), and ad's are usually outta the way.
The ad in this app doesn't interfere with watching the show, but it would if it was full screen...
Well after flashing the stock sbf and re rooting and using the market fix I can't find this app anymore... Wish I had saved it with titanium backup.. I know they just came out with the hd version that utilized way more of the screen if anyone has this app could you post it here? Maybe att is blocking this app? Might have to wait till I get to a wifi, switch air plane mode on, and see if it shows up. I can find the developer but not the tv shows free or tv shows free hd app... Any way to keep att from restricting what apps show on the market?

It's not a warez question, I'm just curious: is anybody get NFS Shift HD and Let's Golf 2 HD working on NC CM7 in full screen mode? I don't need your apk's or installation details (however if you can share some tricky settings like build.prop changes, PM me pls) - just a simple proof, "yes" or "no". Thanks!
P.S. NC with latest Dalingrin's kernel and nightly CM7 shows the very good performance in 3D (compared with first GTab, for example - just did some comparisons on this weekend) but lack of my favorite games makes me kinda upset :-(

You forgot to add usual "clear data and Dalvik cache, reinstall CM, reinstall kernel, knock the tambourine" etc. what is always recommended by "wipecleaners" noobs
From my experience: these games are using a native arm dll so it's not a real Android native apps (java-based); so the Spare Parts is useless in that case.
I'm still trying to get Let's Golf 2 working. Anyone have any ideas?

While the game makes the transition mostly intact, some of the graphical flair of the original is missing, probably to make it run better on a wider variety of Android phones and tablets. If you’re running a high end phone with a fast dual-core processor and a competent GPU, it might not be using them to the best of their abilities. Luckily, German site AndroidNext has found a hidden settings file within the game’s data folder, which will allow you to modify some basic graphics settings."
For the full effects in GTA 3 on Android you have to do only the following:
1) Connect phone to PC and connect as a Disk Drive
2) Navigate to the directory
/sdcard/Android/data/com.rockstar.gta3/files/GTA3
3) Backup existing Gta3.set
4) Download and extract gta-3-full-download effects.zip
5) Drop included gta3.set from zip into the /sdcard/Android/data/com.rockstar.gta3/files/GTA3 directory
6) Done!
P.S. - confirmed it worked and no lag from the tweak as well. Happy Holidays everyone!

What ROM and OC are you using? After this patch the game looks definitely better, but the framerate is v-e-e-e-r-y s-l-o-w :-/ StockROM

At the moment I'm using ViperROM Redline with Anthrax stock rc3. I use ViperMOD to overclock it to 1.6 and the IntelliAnthrax governor. I was running MIUI before and it was lagging pretty bad, that's why I switched.

Yes. I just did it through Astro. Was laggy until I switched the CPU to performance from Intellianthrax.

LOL I just figured it would be possible. I'm not sure though. I'm trying to see if the .set file is there but every time I navigate to the the GTA folder all I have are the many folders that look like they would be the contents of a zip file.. maybe when my phone downloaded the files they automatically unzipped somehow?

I wouldn't change it. As you can see theres not much difference and its not worth having the on-screen controls messed up.. the one with the pickup is before and the minivan is after...
The only thing is the bridge but before i took the screen cap it took a couple of seconds for the bridge to load the bottom(The difference between the 2).

I picked it up from the Android Market before they restricted it to only certain devices. I use ChainFire to unroll the textures to 32-bit, makes everything a bit sharper and its not only in a game.
I'm pissed I missed my chance at getting this game. Now I have no clue how to get it...

Ive noticed ever since i upgraded to ICS.. ALL my music has the same album art...ive downloaded apps that say they clean it up and find the correct ones but nothing has worked. I cannot find anything that works or to fix it...and its very annoying...please help!!
Ive also attached a few screen shots to show what i mean...all help is appreciated.
Wow, my phone does the same thing! Never noticed it before, mainly because I don't use the stock music player, but you could try rebooting into stock recovery and clearing cache, cache only- not data. That seems to fix alot of things for alot of ppl. I use poweramp, it works like a dream but you have to go through the settings and specify which folders to play from or it will play literally every piece of audio in your phone, including ringtones and game music, gets annoying sometimes to have to skip through so many things.

The other thing ive noticed recently.. itll freeze... or lagg scrolling threw the music..ot even playing a different song that it says.. u skip it plays fine.. u go back to the effed up song its correct..

Didnt work for me... also.. gave me same problem.. all same album art..
Edit: have widget etc.. had to mess with settings.. but still all same album art.. used the prev. Posts suggestion and whiped album art (what i did on stoxk player) shows its gone..but on player its all still there..

There's a 15 day trial (I think) then its $4.99 for full. IMO its totally worth it but I would say it depends on the person

Hi anybody have that problem? Game runs perfect, but when i've played (after about 5 min) and suddenly exit to menu every text options dissapeard... Any help?

Yes, im experiencing this isssue too on XperiaP ICS, cant normally use menu, cant even quit the game via menu. I also tried version 1.2 with no success
Same problem here... I've tried clean cache, reinstall. Nothing works.

Guys, I'm having the same issue and my GTA III is the bought one, last version, 1.3! I can even send the google play store's e-mail if you want me to.
Actually, I have these bugs:
- Sometimes the cutscenes freeze up and I have to skip them;
- I have the same menu problem, after sometime it disappears and I can't save, I can't do anything...
I've already tried this:
- Clear cache;
- Dynamic shadows off;
- Different resolutions / graphics;
- Killing every background app before playing.
Is anybody out there suffering the same problem? Every other game plays just fine, actually I just bought Dead Space and it's working great... It's just with GTA III.
Upgrade to latest firmware.(6.1.1.B.1.54). Bug is now fixed by firmware
