As stated in thread title, I am looking for a way to use the Accuweather Widget that Samsung rolled out with their ICS update for the Samsung Galaxy SII with the Galaxy S3. Got a hold of the .apk, but won't install!
Any ideas?
Did u try pushing it to system/app or using root explorer to manually add it?

I am talking about using the weather widget from Galaxy S2 (as in S TWO!!!!!) with the new Galaxy S3 (as in S THREE!!!!). Why would I want to ask how to use the S3 widget on the S3, I can just drag it to the homescreen?
Will try it the Root Explorer way, haven't done that yet. Thanks so far!

hi everyone i got the samsung galaxy s3 and i love it but i have a question
when i had the galaxy s2 i noticed that when you are on the home screen and move from screen to screen the image move with the screen but that dosent happen with the s3
so is that a feature only for the s2 or gingerbread devices or can i do the same on the s3 as well ?
and if i can how ?
thanks
your talking about scrolling wallpaper?
some launchers can activate that for you. or custom roms.
Can download it at play store. Search for scrolling wallpaper. This apps is ment for S3. No need root or custom rom.. Give it try.. I`m using it & it's just not scrolling on home screen but apps page also.

Looks nice indeed, But all works perfectly is not completely true. FM radio doesn't work. Chance to lose sound in calls so needed to extra flash an other modem file. TVOut: unsupported and will probably never be. Wakeing the device up using volume keys might not work because the device is sleeping to deep and doesn't recognize key presses

and these are some blank spaces at the bottom of the page in app drawer and improper alignment of dock icons on home screen.
I hope if any Dev can fix this issue. As it is so smooth launcher that many of you will love to use.

So as the title suggests, this is the analog clock widget modified to look like the one from 4.2 Jelly Bean. Credit goes to evilisto over at the Galaxy Nexus forum, go show him some thanks.
Here is the original post: Click me
The only thing I changed was the app drawer preview. It was still showing the old ICS-style analog clock so I fixed it.
Download the DeskClock.apk, place it in /system/app, change permissions to rw-r--r--, reboot.
Everything has worked fine for me on the ParanoidAndroid and Cookies and Cream ROMs so let me know if you run into any trouble otherwise Enjoy

Hey do you mind if I put this in supergapps update I'm doing? It will have all 4.2 apps available and this is nice with no issues.
Yeah sure that's definitely fine with me. The actual DeskClock.apk from 4.2 is available too (from the Nexus 4 forums) . I'll include the flashable zip here in this post if you want to use that one instead since its the official one. Regardless, thanks for putting the supergapps together!

Thanks but the 4.2 clock crashes when you set the alarm so I'd use yours to be safe. Can't put out crashing apps in a gapps!
I like the Themer Beta theme "Red Velvet". I changed the font colors and icons to some black ones on the homescreen and white icons inside folders. Files can be downloaded from the Dropbox link. https://db.tt/kxFHNhep
Black & white icons.
