With the new ics update my browser brightness has been very low. Cant find browser settings for it on stock unrooted. Things i adjusted are brightness and auto adjust. Unchecked brightness and put to full and browser still low. Seems like brightness is lowest possible in browser till i exit then screen is superbright. Anyone know of any fixes

So, whats your fav lost feature?
I know I have posted a lot of these in the tips/tricks, but its been a year.. some are old and forgotten. Could be new to people. Maybe there are new Tricks since I made that guide.

The thing with numbers I think its called dial pad but you put in a sequence of numbers and you can actually talk to your friends. That's pretty cool.

Hold upper-right corner (around clock, battery, signal icons) - the screen brightness goes to 100%
Swiping the letters to get specific artist names in songs to the music player. Swipe it while swiping it and you'll get and even more in depth search..

Long press of back button to quickly back out of several pages. Handy on XDA app as well as browser.

Hello!
Very first post in this board...
There's similar threads under different phones but nothing I can find under the mopho forum, if there is please redirect me!
so here it goes: is there any way to decrease the brightness of the screen beyond moving the slider in the settings down to 0?
Thanks!
There's a free app in market called screen filter made by haxor. Try it!
There is also that power widget that allows you to set it to auto, lower and higher. Not sure if that is low enough though.

I think all this app does is "grey out" your screen. I'm pretty sure that the backlight stays at whatever setting it was at before starting the filter. You may get a bit of savings by disabling the soft key backlight, if you have them.
Not trying to be a smarta$$, but I do love this app.

App does the trick ... except it adds another icon to the display at the top. Isn't there a file that can be edited in the system to reduce the minimum brightness level?
Do your sgs3 screen go lower when you go into your browser? If so has anyone found a way to turn up the brightness? I went through the settings and didn't find anything.
Nevermind I found it it is under brightness and colors. Lol jumped the gun a little bit.

To get the the scroll down settings you just hit the three bar settings button on the bottom while in settings. I just noticed it while messing around and found it. Figured I would post for anyone who might want this. You can go back the same way.

Thanks bud, didn't even notice that. Scroll down settings, to me, is a lot quicker to access different settings.

I was wondering if anybody else has this issue, I keep my phones brightness at 50% but when i open the stock browser it increases it to 100%, it's not a horrible thing (other than burning my corneas out) it's just annoying. Anybody else have this problem, or am I special :/
If I helped you... Thank me... Its quick and helps!
Stock browser has brightness setting in menu that overrides system brightness.

I use Smart Profile, which automatically adjusts the brightness according to the time of the day. But yes, very randomly I got this problem of 100% brightness when I change something else. Pressing power button once to sleep and and again pressing it to wake, solves this problem.
Happens once a day or once in alternate days. Not a big deal so not looking for any solution for the minor thing.
Guys. While in browser, open menu, scroll to bottom and you will see "brightness".

My stock browser (named Internet) is disabled. I use chrome.
EDIT: Lol, even I enabled it after long time, the icon does not appear. May be a restart required. Will check later.
Thanks for your help guys! It was really annoying... And I'm glad I'm not the only one with this issue!
