Is there an app to schedule Facebook Messages? - Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

There are a lot of sms schedule apps, but I mostly use Facebook Messenger app to contact friends and family as they receive them directly to their mobile device.
I know there are services which allow scheduled Facebook status updates, but I'm looking for an app that allows you to schedule Facebook Messages.
Thanks

Probably something like Tasker would be your best bet to get exactly what you want. But I don't know much on the subject

Thanks but that's not what I'm looking for

I see it (I'm using new market).
I'm confused as to why its not integrated into the main app. :/
Silly Facebook, developers... Just fix the notifications/instant updates.
I gotta remind myself to get to a damn blackberry.
So I can only get it from the new market? BRB, installing new market...

WHY DO WE LIKE IT? It's weird to think that this can be a standalone app apart from the clusterzuck that Facebook can be but, well, it really can. It's as good as GroupMe or Kik or WhatsApp in the sense that you're chatting with friends without racking up SMS charges but it's better than those services because most people have Facebook accounts and don't need to sign up for a new service. It's easy to add buddies to chat (through their Facebook account or phone number), almost scary easy to attach your location to each message and less complicated than GroupMe to start a group chat.
Even if you hate Facebook, you don't hate your friends right? The Facebook-ness of the app is invisible enough that even the most anti-Facebook guy will have to admit this is actually decent. Seriously, strip the Facebook away and what you get is a messaging app that your friends have already signed up for. Why not try?

There's built in chat in the Facebook app, been that way for a while now guys...granted their notifications aren't working right for most people but the chat works just fine.
side note: are they gonna fix multi-quote on these boards soon? some problem with ad-block?
Could one of you share the apk, it's telling me a dumb error like my phone is not compatible and does the same for the official facebook app ....
[edit]Found it here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1210604
I tried this but the notifications arnt working. I've enabled all alerts, light sound vibrate but when I receive a message there's nothing. I have to go to the app to know i got one

[Q] For those of you with Gmail accounts...

Will you be using the gmail app or the stock email app?
The stock app has that cool 2 paned viewing thing, (inbox on one side, emails on the other) but the gmail app was made for gmail. I was just wondering what you guys prefer.

I myself don't like using multiple apps to access all my mail accounts. If I can get away with adding all my accounts to a single mail client then that's the route I'm taking regardless of the various features and benefits the individual apps themselves might have. I like to keep things simple.
Gmail app.
Very good label support
I use both!

I'm with you. I like everything in a nice, neat package.
I use the GMAIL App, to keep things simple and not all over the place.
I have always used the Gmail app. I have all my emails come into one place instead of trying to look through different apps for email. Centralized and consistent. Plus I love the labeling feature.
Gmail app is trash. I don't understand how come doesn't offer zooming and icon or widget notification. Stock does. I guess is another dumb apple patent conflict crap.

Is there a way to only get notified of mail in your priority inbox. The Gmail app system it supports this, but it doesn't. There are almost no settings at all! You used to be able to set a custom notification tone, too...:banghead:

K-9 and maildroid have always been better than gmail or stock app to me
has option to put all mails from all acounts in one scrollable folder if wanted to

You can search Play Store. You'll find something you like there rather than ask others for suggestions. Try K-9 mail.

Group message with iphone users?

Hey guys, just wondering if anyone knows of a mod that allows android users to group text with iphone users using default htc messaging app. Currently, I get a seperate text from people who are in my group text, it gets a little annoying.
I'm tried using go sms....but doesn't state if you have any unread messages unless you have a widget. Also, it requires data to always be active.
If all else fails...I could stick it out with go sms...
I'm hoping Google adds this feature to future Android builds.

What you want is Threaded Group SMS. Yeah it'd be cool.
We could always request such a thing from HTC & on a slimmer chance, Google.

try the Groupme app in the play store. works great and there's even a SMS option if you dont want to use the app.

Go SMS Pro....Gone Bad

I've been using Go Sms Pro since it first ce to Android. It was hands-down the best sms replacement in my opinion. The last two updates however have changed my opinion about it. They started pushing Ads like those annoying scam apps. The last one in particular made me uninstall it. It now places Ads on the bottom of the screen. I'm done with them.
Is there any app besides Handcent, Chomp, Texter that is a good pop up sms replacement. There are many apps on the market aand I've personally come across some awesome apps that wasn't on the top of the list of best apps. So is anyone has some suggestions on apps they use or come across, I'd appreciate it.

I personally prefer 8sms, it's like stock with dark theme: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2398767
Mysms. If the person you're texting also got it installed then the text will be send over cellular data, else it'll be send as normal sms over your carrier.
I'll look those up.

Handcent sms here, because it has greek sms mode(it removes special characters), any other app that have the same feature?

Np man, it can also be used as a standalone app without the use of the stock messaging app.
