i had this on the omega rom.
when selecting photo from gallery, have your phone in landscape and it will fill all screens. when its in portrait it only fills the screen you are on.

Tried using d stock (images) wallpapers for lockscreen today..(which are stored by default under Wallpaper Gallery).Couldn't find an option 2 select those. Can use them for homescreen wallpapers...but to use them for lockscreen it doesn't provide an option. How to use them for lockscreen?
Hmm, seems you are not on KF3, cause in KF3 there is Wallpaper Gallery included in Lock Screen wallpaper option. Anyway, you do this,
Go to Wallpaper gallery under Home Screen wallpaper, then select Wallpaper gallery, select a Picture, Set wallpaper, then click on the Portrait mode, Save, you will be asked if you want to set the wallpaper for Lock screen too, click Yes, Done
Regards.
or settings----display---screen display---lockscreen wallpaper
Thnx...job done..still a lil compromise.. as in portrait mode d entire picture can't be selected. But newayz can use those imagess now for lockscreen
For Lockscreen 480x800 picture is appropriate, you can't use a scrollable wallpaper for lockscreen as you can't slide/scroll it unlike Homescreen
Ya i know tat..Got it ..On first luk..felt it doesn't luk d same as it did earlier...On a close luk realized it's luks d same Thnx
How do I save the background image of a screen on my GT-P7500?
Are you trying to save the wallpaper in the launcher? Otherwise, you can always take a screen capture.

The wallpaper in the the launcher (I think), but I'm not sure what the difference is.
Screen capture saves the screen as you see it (wallpaper+icons, etc.), wallpaper is just the background.
I would also like to know how to save the current wallpaper on my Galaxy Vibrant (Gingerbread). My current wallpaper does not appear in the gallery or in available wallpapers list and I don't want to lose it if I decide to try out different wallpapers. Is there a way to save it?
Is it just me or does this phone really not support panoramic homescreen wallpapers by default? What I mean is so the wallpaper moves along when you swipe between the homescreens.

It doesn't. But there is an app already on google play that is for this phone and it works quite well.
Hi there
When trying to apply a wallpaper (e.g. a picture taken with my SGS3 camera) to my homescreen I usually have to resize it via the gallery-app. But resizing lets the picture shrink to a default-form that does not cover my 5-homescreens. Therefore I always get some black bars on the right and the left side...
Any idea how I can fix this or how I can keep the gallery app from not resizing my pictures to the default-size that only seems to cover 1 homescreen?

Are u using any other launcher than TW? Or scrollable TW mod? one work around is using "gallery ICS" from market to set your wallpaper
Currently I'm using the Nova Launcher. Is this an issue? Will try to download the ICS Gallery and hope it works well with the Nova Launcher
***Update: Wow, it works. Gallery ICS can resize my pictures and they fit to my 5-Homescreen Nova Launcher.... GREAT!! Many thanks

:victory: The default gallery asks you to crop the picture since TW launcher does not support scrollable wallpapers. However its a problem with other launchers. You can either disable wallpaper scrolling in launcher settings or use this gallery to set full length scrollable wallpapers
So what happened to the scrolling of the background? When I go to set a stock ICS background it severely crops more than half the image, what am I missing here?
Have you tried a different launcher like Nova or Apex? If not I use an app called Wallpaper Wizardrii that lets you set the exact size wallpaper without cropping.
