So I put my EVO in my pocket, and when I taook it out there's some crud stuck in the speaker grill. I've tried q tips and needles but its still stuck in there. Any ideas on how to get rid of it?

Yeah mine has some sticky gunk in it.

Had some in mine. Used some tape just in the grill part with enough to pull it off. Worked for me.

I have been looking all over to get a cover for my headphone jack, because my EVO 4G got very dusty through that port. I found a site that has them and thought I would share them with you all so you to can protect your 3VO's.
Topicovers.com. Their 1.99 each but you have to pay $5 for shipping. So I'll let you know how they turn out.
I finally got the covers in the mail. Took almost a month. But they fit great and now I don't have to worry about dust. Worth the $11 in my opinion.

Will you take some pics so I know what they are exactly?

Here you go. Their little rubber pieces that plug into your charging port and headphone jack.

Ohhhh ok, cool. Yea Rearth makes these too, atleast for the Evo 4G anyway. They sent me 3 headphone jack plugs and a silicone case for testing. Both were awesome!

How difficult is it to remove these with a TPU case on the phone?
Do you have any way to take a picture of them on the phone?
i dont know how but i messed up my phone speakers. i took the phone to the sprint store and they told me they have water damage. they sound very tinny and low. i guess they must have gotten wet inside. is there any way to replace the speakers? im out of warranty and my phone is useless without speakers. any ideas, suggestions? many thanks and merry xmas everyone!!

The part you need is the middle plate with the loud speaker it shouldn't be that hard to repair. The problem is finding that sucker and this site only sells to wholesalers.

You should go around in the cm7 thread (development section) and check the last few pages for thesian. He works for sprint and maybe he could sell you one or at least tell you where to get it. Send him a private message I'm sure he'd be cool enough to help you.

I also went the rubber/plastic coated paperclip route. Got it on my first try.

Thought you were gonna ask us about the different types of concrete we preferred...sorry about your phone. Or did it survive and thats only the glas-t?

That's the screen, and no its screwed. It turns on but that's about it, you can kinda make out what's on the screen but touch does not work.

Damn, I've got the same combo on mine with the defender. Fortunately all I've had is the lower right corner breaking off glas.t now I really don't want to use it naked for calling, or holding it up to my face. Sorry for the luck you'd think 100 dollars worth of protection would have saved you.

Seems I have attained a piece of dust under my lens. It's not yet affecting photo quality because its not sitting on the actual lens, but its under the cover and I'm afraid that it's going to shift over. Has anyone experienced this and figured out a way to dislodge it?
