No you can't. Only to choose between light and dark background is supported.

I posted this in the international section and thought I would post it here as well. Is it possible to change the background of the email app so that it reads as black on white instead of white on black? I saw you could do this with the messaging app and the GMail app has a white background.
Go into a specific email. Menu key, change text and background

Yeah I did mean the inbox background. If nothing else I can install the stock ICS email app but would like to see if i could accomplish this with the stock app.

Some time ago i found in this forum an app that managed to set the led color theme as the same of an image... it's a bit hard to explain...
for example i got an orange image so the bar turns orange too, but when i exit from the album app the led isn't orange anymore. with that app i could manage to make it orange even out of the album app. anyone remeber what app is it?
Ilumination bar notification app allows you to do that.

no, illumination bar notification allow to set a theme color that you choose, the app that i'm lookin for allows to set as theme the dominant color of an image, for example the wallpaper of the home screen
i remember another thing: the icon of the app was similar to the stock ics people app (http://aux3.iconpedia.net/uploads/559212118982735182.png), but it was round
