Flash process finished without kernel. You didn't do something stupid like tick exclude kernel, right?
Shutdown flashtool and disconnect your phone, and do the process again.
And may I ask you, since you already followed tutorial, why not asking in it, instead of creating new thread?

I Faced The Same problem many times. do this what i did - when it ask to connect in flash mode, hold down back key then connect via usb. wait for flashtool saying "the flashing started"(or A Sound Of PC that some usb thing is connected), now release the back button. if this process not working try it 2-4 times again. it'll work!

flashing kernel

Bro, its better to use fastboot mode.
connect your device in fastboot mode
put ur kernel (IMG file) in androidsdk/tools folder
go to start menu and type cmd and press enter
in cmd write these commands
cd/
cd androidsdk/tools
fastboot flash boot (type kernel name.img without brackets)
So its done / if you want know how to get and use fastboot , you can ask i will tell

[Q] X10 mini (e10) almost bricked stuck in boot loop

Sorry for the long post, but I will try and explain everything as much better as I can.
So, I accidentally flashed a x10 mini PRO rom on the X10 mini. Now the phone gets stuck on the MI logo (it was a miui rom). I can restart the phone normally, I can shut it down, and there is communication with s1tool.
I cannot get into recovery, so I'm stuck. The phone has an unlocked bootloader. So I'm trying to connect it with flashtool, I have the drivers installed, but I don't know what to flash now to restore the phone in a working order. I can't get the phone to remain in flashmode, except if I open s1tool and identify it first. Otherwise it stays in flashmode for 10secs and then it starts booting again.
I have actually managed to flash a stock SE firmware via flashtool. What I did was, I opened s1tool, and then flashtool, and flashtool was able to communicate with the phone, to read the information, and actually flash it, but after I restarted I was stuck in the same boot loop.
I tried to flash recovery again from flashtool, but even when I'm in flashmode, it does not activate all the buttons in flashtool, and therefore it does not give me the option to flash recovery.
I tried with SEUS also to restore it, but it says I have the latest version and it does not let me proceed.
So my question is, is there any way to flash recovery from flashtool, and what is that way? How do you enter flashmode, for the green LED to remain on, because I'm not sure I'm doing it right? Is there any other way to flash a ROM from flashtool?
Please help.
Repair it with SEUS or PC Companion.
Step A: Leave your phone disconnected from your PC
Step B: Run SEUS/PC Companion, and select update
Step C: It doesn't recognise your phone because it's disconnected and give you a repair option
Step D: Select it, choose your model, it will download the firmware
Step E: You get a popup, Press the back-button on your phone while it's off and plug in the USB-Cable
Step F: Wait till it's done...
I have tried that, but I will do it again step by step, and see what happens. Thank you for your time.
restore your phone
sorry for bad english ...

If you haave an unlocked bootloader, why don't you flash a custom kernel for the mini like nAa-14 then use its inbuilt recovery to flash minicm7?

[Q] Xperia U cannot root?

Ok, I've installed all the drivers that come with flashboot (xperia u, flashboot and fastboot)
ST25i
firmware 6.1.1.B.1.54
ics 4.0.4
Says in the settings that it can be unlocked.
Gone all the way through the official method, at the end it just says "root failed" (rechecked both modes multiple times.
Installed flashtool, tried that method, root fails.
Run "root many android", also fails.
I am running everything in admin mode, the phone stays in fastboot and driver is recognized... I just have no idea.

better unock through flashtool
u trying to root or unlock bootloader??
I think he wants to root it...You have to flash .B.1.10 kernel as first. After that you can root (by any method, but I strongly recommend latest Flashtool). And after rooting flash back kernel B.1.54
Where do I get the kernel and how do I flash it? Thanks!
I've tried using this, but get the error "the device must be rooted 1st"
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1926387
Now following this guide, gets stuck when it tells me to unplug the device, hold the back button (up arrow) and plug in the usb, phone comes on, computer recognises, phone stays with blue led lit... nothing happens..
Use flashtool to flash stock kernel. Search for. 10 and. 54 kernels on forum
Sent from my Xperia Sola (XDA for Android)
Flash .10 kernel first. Root your phone with "root many android" trheads method and watch the tut vid. Then flash. 54 kernel. I couldnt find "root many android" topic with my phone, so just search for it. When using flashtool to flash kernels, first install drivers from drivers folder, then boot your phone in flashmode. Hope this helps

i had the same problem when i tried the first time.
Download flashtool and flash .402 ftf or similar. would recommend .402 though.
That helped me. It deleted everything on the phone except for the SD card, but a small price to pay for a quick fix.

The one i used is flashtool-0.9.16.0-windows. get it here https://docs.google.com/file/d/0ByK8JL7P6wDTMXRvcTdjMzVuNFk/edit
then visit http://www.flashtool.net/index.php for more info on how to proceed with install etc. also =)
also download ftf from here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2759934 i recommend the .402 so you can use easyroot to root!
You should just be able to flash the corresponding kernel for your firmware via flashtool/adb to get it working again

P.S. Xperia Companion Software Repair doesn't work coz bootloader was unlocked..
download the latest flashtool
http://www.flashtool.net/index.php
use the built in xperifirm button to go grab the right software for your phone, then flash it in flashmode. The tool tells you when it's ready and tells you what to do. (phone powered off, connect usb cable while holding vol-down WHEN PROMPTED)
You can leave all the options default on the firmware selector screen, though you may wish to tick the "USERDATA" box under wipe if you want to start fresh.
