I am trying to display android ui on small size screen. So I add some resource files for launcher like this: add "/res/drawable-small-ldpi" into the launcher directory. but after i rebuild the launcher, I count not find the adding resouce file and directory in the .apk file.
Maybe i make mistake in my building operation, in this time, what shoud be done to build the new resource into the .apk file?
I have installed chromium(4.0) on my webtop, but I can't find the config file.
I want to change the size of font on the webpage, and I tried to change it in the "options - under the hood", but nothing changed. So I want to find the config file to change it directly.
This worked (re-enabled writing to sdcard2) for me on my Sony Tablet SGPT112USS updated and rooted ICS 4.0.3. I used ROM Toolbox app to mount the file system as rw, used a text editor to make the change to platform.xml, then used ROM Toolbox to mount the file system back to ro. Hope this helps. 1. Using a root-enabled file manager, navigate to /system/etc/permissions and make sure you have mounted the file system r/w.
2. Edit platform.xml and find the WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE permission.
3. Add an additional group definition for this permission...<group gid="media_rw" />
4. Save the changes to the file.
5. Restart your tablet.
After editing platform.xml file my both sdcards are not writable anymore...looking for some help on this
Your changes made the platform.xml file invalid and thus unusable causing more errors ont he way. Check it with XML parser for errors (loading it in browser like firefox or chrome, which supports xml will do) - the couse will be probably something trivial like using wrong quote characters or unclosed xml tag.
I want to modify the framework, but on Nougat it is an oat file named 'boot-framework.oat' not a jar.
I can't disassemble and assemble it back properly...
I have tried using baksmali/smali and get an dex with no error output.
but just something went wrong, before baksmali the file size of the oat file is 40M, after smali i got a 10M dex file. After dex2oat it also is a 10M oat file.

Hello i convert super.img to super.raw
And get vendor.raw from it but now i need to know how can i unpack raw file and edit and repack?
There was a tool linux something and penguin on that tool and that tool edit build.prop inside raw files
But i don't remember the exact name of tool
Can anyone help me with this case?
Or any other way to edit build prop inside raw?
