Remove Carrier Logo after Root - Galaxy S III Q&A, (US Carriers)

After I flashed my Samsung Galaxy S3 with the stock rom with root injected (found here). Once I flashed my phone with this new stock rom with root injected everything works perfect. The only difference is now the AT&T carrier logo is displayed on my status bar in the top left corner. I find it annoying and ugly, I'm hoping someone can help me remove it so I don't have to see the letters AT&T in my status bar I greatly appreciate any and all help

Now i'm in canada, Using a bell Unlocked Unit GT-9100M i believe.
i'm trying to install this theme. but i get stuck at a boot loop every time.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1334922
also in terms of custom roms what would you recommend to a newbie
Did you root your phone ?
if no read this section and root.
SGS2 Bell/Virgin Canadian Thread Q&A (Root/Unlock/Firmware) Modems/Mods
second you need to use odex or deoxed rom for the theme to work.
what kind of rom are you looking for, so can point you in the right direction.
You could use CheckROM RevoHD V4....it will automatically install KitchenPro, and you will have the abillity to install themes directly from there or customize almost everything you need on your phone.
But this means you have to root your device, if you haven't done it yet.

Sounds like you odin Gingerbread root on ICS...I would run the update again in download mode, to get a new complete fresh install or put CWM touch on to flash a custom ROM or if your gonna stay stock, (I use touch CWM)...and to put the ICS latest stock or Custom ROMs,
are all listed on the GNote Super page, see my links in my signature for all the ROOT for ICS and all the stock/custom ROMs.
Huh?
still stuck but thanks...
i have tried to flash the bell pda.tar stock and get the same. it was currently running the Bell ICS update ...where do i find the Bell pda.tar file for ICS so i can flash on to ClockworkMod...i have read almost everything...i know READ READ READ...any help will be great. thank bro...where do you fond time.

[Q] S4 keyboard on leaked 4.2.1 firmware?

Hello there
Before you say, I already searched about this and only found one thread which didn't help me much to be honest. There was a SamsungIME.apk linked in the thread but I am not even sure what that is. I applied the Galaxy SIV MOD by Damdidosch and it is amazing and has the keyboard I am looking for but I faced some problems with it and it kind of slowed down my device so I decided to restore the leaked (untouched) 4.2.1 firmware. I really liked the S4 keyboard, though, with the number pad always visible and the white background and would really like to install it if it's possible.
Does anyone have links for it or know where I can look for it?
Thanks!
Well I tried the SamsungIME.apk and it said "Do you want to install this update to the system application Samsung Keyboard?" and I chose yes but it then said Install failed.

Hi,
I have a GT-P5113 Tab 2 10.2,
I was just wondering if it's possible to go back to stock so I can upgrade to 4.2.2, without wiping back to stock 4.1.1?
As well, once updated to 4.2.2 (my wife has the same model as me and is not rooted so got the update), is there a way to theme the TouchWiz pulldown notification center so it's dark instead of white? The white is jarring and we like it much better dark, like on my Galaxy S phone.

Buddy... you're in the wrong forum...
But I can tell you that if you're intention is to go back stock without PC Odin. You need to find a 4.2.2 stock zip and flash it in recovery as normally done with custom roms. Short of that you will need to back up you're tab and Odin back to 4.1 and do the ota update, if it was ota.
As for the pulldown.. you could find the color in system/framework res apk, I think. But I'm not sure. You can probably ask a Devs in the tab2 forum. Read up... because if you start pulling the framework/res apk out.... it can cause a bootloop.
Good luck
Whoops... Didn't see a Tab 2 category, I just realized I wasn't browsing "All" devices. xP I'll post in the Tab 2 forums. Thanks for the info, though.

MOD remove the thread :)

Hi,
Everything was working fine on my Samsung galaxy s alpa sc-03e this is the link to the thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s3/general/official-japanese-sgs-iii-sc-03e-t2172063, I have successfully rooted and installed recovery and enjoying the few custom roms, then suddenly I installed S3 i9305 rom didn't got the success, then install philz recovery http://www.anniblue.com/xda/xda_sc-03e/XDA/SC-03E/Recoveries/ and installed slim rom from Note 2 section http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2529266 and then after appearing docomo logo black screen, then I put it on Download mode and installed stock rom but now touch not working. How can i access to this ? Its never happened in my life after installing so many roms in so many devices. Please I need Pro advice ? And also Black Button key is not working, How I can remap all this ?
This forum is for the i9300, flashing a firmware for another phone will blow the screen controller on the i9300.
Sounds like you need a new screen assembly, take it to a repair centre.
