Have you tried CPU Sleeper?
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1745516
I used to have similar problems that you are currently having, but they stopped after installing that app. It does an awesome job of preserving battery life when the phone is on standby. I also used Titanium backup to freeze some apps that I dont use. The list can be found here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1783132
I am running the Rogers stock rom (rooted) + CPU Sleeper. Feel free to PM me if you need more info or have any questions.
Been playing around more it seems to be the root causing it.. what root are you using?

Except for the calibration... Right Mako?
It won't let me DL from market... Error processing purchase (even though its free). I just installed another app to make sure ny market worked, and it did. Although, I think I over debloated and maybe got rid of an app that the market used.
It is sexy though.

LMAO...whatever toots your horn my dude
All of the ringtone and notification tones have disappeared, but the files are still on the phone. When I go to change the ringtone in settings I get a blank screen:

It's the same with notifications in settings:
I have unlocked and rooted my phone, but nothing else. I'm on the stock rom. Everything was working fine after the unlock until a few days ago when the clock app would crash when trying to set an alarm and Chomp SMS would crash when going into the notification settings inside Chomp. I can't change my ringtone and I no longer get audio notification when I get a text message. I've searched for a couple of hours now and haven't found a solution yet. Does anyone have any ideas about this problem?

The link to the package in that thread no longer works. But someone posted an audio.zip file and I tried copying those files into /system/media but that didn't work. Thanks for the reply though.

I really need to redo that link. Lol. It's my drop box and I just fixed it. Maybe ill try google drive.
Do dropbox links expire? I didn't think they did, but it looks like they do.

I've tried rebooting several times, including right before posting this reply, but it hasn't worked. Maybe a factory reset is what I need to do.

Since past week or two sometimes when I try to search for something on Google in Stock browser I get an error Web page not available.. Happens once in every 5-7 searches... Then the only way to get back to normal is to clear browser data... I've tried changing ROMs ..used Sammy room aosp aokp but same everywhere ...this does not happen in other browsers though and not on PC so I know nothing is wrong with my ISP or Google..also it doesn't happen if use Google search widget ...I get proper results if I use that
Can someone help me with this coz clearing data after every few uses is irritating

Try using wifi. Then use phone data. Come back with the results.

I hear this is semi-antiquated advice (I say semi because I'm not entirely sure that it doesn't help)
but have you tried to charge your battery all the way up and calibrate it?
Also...it seems that you have a voice mail. You should certainly check that, don't want to keep anyone hanging lol

No, so I will. BTW that voicemail is just a whole bunch of people talking in the background, must be an accident.

Here is a link to the app I use (although there are others ofc):
https://play.google.com/store/apps/...xLDEsImNvbS5uZW1hLmJhdHRlcnljYWxpYnJhdGlvbiJd
Charge to 100% and while still plugged, open the app grant root and calibrate. Then you want to use your phone until its at around 5% battery and charge it all the way back up to 100% before using it and then you should be good. If not, then we can look into other alternatives ^^

If you guys would have looked closely, it asks if you want to share data with TMobile to better assist with diagnostics. After reading these posts, I chose to NOT accept, or decline. After decline, the TMobile app still opens up normally and says NO data is shared with TMobile at the top and when I run device health, it says basically healthy etc with NO messages about rooted device :good:
Each time the app is opened, I make sure I choose decline and then I know TMobile has no clue......
It also states results will not be shared with tmobile. Guess I'll have to wait to find out.
Sent from my SM-G900T using xda app-developers app
thats why i always decline when they ask to share data or other diagnostics info, and one of the main reasons i root my devices, to get rid of this apps.. i dont care about warranty, i just want to be free to do what i want with my device without worrying about them having me on check.
