Hello,
I have a problem that, while I was trying to delete some systems applications by mistake I managed to delete whole /system/app directory.
It is in the boot screen and I have three birds for hours.
I cannot adb shell I have some other tablet to get image if required.
Can someone help me with that issue as it is so important.

You could try re-naming the FW file to update.zip and copy it to your sd card. I don't know if it will work but it appears that it may.
Thanks for the reply, which FW you mean?

There's a link to it in this forum. It begins with FW_SAM

http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1484787
Sorry, it's not the VSAM, it's the VSEI. It will take your device back to stock, if it works. Download the file and then rename it to update.zip. Copy it to your sd card and boot into recovery. It's worth a try. Please let me know if it works.
Hello again,
I am trying to turn it on but it is not turning on. I tried to connect computer volume and power button, reset nothing seems to work. How I can enter recovery mode?
Thanks,

I assume it's fully charged or connected to an A/C adapter. Then hold power and volume until it boots. As soon as you see the bird logo, let go of the power button but continue to hold the volume button until it boots into recovery. Then, select "update from SD card." It will only recognize update.zip file because we don't have clockworkmod recovery for 7e.

I don't have any other ideas. We really need a custom ROM with CWM but I don't know any Devs working on it. If your tablet is less than 30 days old, you can return it for a full refund or replacement.
I understand thanks fro your help anyway will let you know about the situation.

we go from the basics
when leaving the sony logo, and vibrates, you repeatedly squeeze the button and volume down?
you followed some guide on XDA for rooting? you can put the link here to see it?

the error can be for anything, an error in the bat file CWM, a step that was omitted inadvertently etc.
I recommend you install the CWM with this tool:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1773227
is simple to use and safe, just follow the steps indicated, download the PC version using the link mirror (it is the only link that work),open the zip and run RecoveX.exe accepting the conditions, choose the model of the device and the tool will download the appropriate CWM and install it, just follow the steps.
Have you installed recovery correctly. If there is a fastboot image it Gould be installed via fastboot.
If you're like me, and your tablet didn't want to update to 4.3, fear not. I have your solution.
Thanks to @xdajunkman for the file required...
01. Connect your tablet to your pc
02. Download the first update zip file from @xdajunkman https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u..._US_user_signed_update_gota_package_32-39.zip
03. Copy the zip file to a microsd card inserted into your tablet ( I also renamed it to update.zip)
04. Press the Volume down + power button simultaneously, to boot into droidboot mode. (you would see the Dell Logo and then the Droidboot screen).
05. Use Volume down to select the third option and press power button to boot into recovery mode.
06. In recovery mode (droid on his back with his belly open), press the Power button + Volume up simultaneously, to display recovery mode menu. (hold them down for a second or two)
07. In recovery mode use Volume down to select update from external storage
08. Select the zip file
09. Wait for it to finish
10. Repeat steps 3-9 with the second update from @xdajunkman's post http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=48958168&postcount=219
10. After it completes press the power button to reboot
11. Enjoy 4.3
It worked for me, Your Mileage may vary.
EDIT:
It appears this will only work if you have one of the tablets that will not take the root exploit.

Possibly a bad Download or are you rooted and messed with build prop at all?
Sent from my XT907 using XDA Premium 4 mobile app
Perhaps the problem is that it appears they may be more than one build of 4.2.2 on this device. Some can root with Cydia, some cannot. Perhaps this update file works for those of us who have a build that can't be rooted. Perhaps there is another update file for other build(s) of 4.2.2 for this device.
Don't know....just thinking....

Zip opens on PC and android so good download. No modify date on build.prof is consistent with the rest of the dates of the build. Donno if there are some other factors that would change but leave the file the same date. Maybe the jdq39 bit has something to do with it. Thats whats in my build.prof I'm holding off for now till I see progress or get the update normally.

I think its like xdajunkman said, some tablets can and can't be rooted so the update might be different for some tablets. The best thing to do for now is wait till the OTA is released.
Sent from my XT907 using XDA Premium 4 mobile app
Mine wouldn't take root, but it took the update with no problems. I definitely think some were patched. I had a small 4.2.2 update applied right when I booted for the first time out of the box. Sucks cuz I root everything I own, but I'll just have to wait I guess.
Anyway, thank y'all for the manual update instructions and zip.

Mine could not be rooted either. It also had a 6 meg update right after initial power up.
That must be the common denominator
I'm glad it helped someone at least.
Here is an idea - this is the update for 4.2.2 that installed once I powered the thing on for the first time:
https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u..._US_user_signed_update_gota_package_32-39.zip
Try installing this one first, then the 4.3 update. Maybe that will work. Note that using this update might make you unable to root and will break root if you have it already.

power off and connect charger let me know if it shows the charging animation , unfortunately it seems Intel's / Dell's method of hiding how long these devices actually take to boot (to the point its actually booting android ) is by using the splash screen ( which you see even it the boot.img and system.img get corrupt ) as the boot animation this makes it really hard to identify bootloops and corrupt partitions. but if you see the charging animation we at least know the boot.img is intact and we can continue to fixing the device.

not the start up text but we can get the splash screen removed to show the intel inside logo this at least allows you to know when it is actually booting , on mine i added an additional simple splash screen in install-recovery.sh so i see , intel inside , then starting su daemon , then the boot animation ,

If you use the unbrick ( xsftk loader or any of the other Intel flashing tools that use it ) process to unbrick or early on root / bootloader unlock the process wipes the splash.img from the osip header leaving you with the Intel default Intel inside logo instead of the dell splash screen.

I see no point in installing this version, honestly I can't think of why it was ever made, useless rom, all that is needed is ifwi.zip the rest is garbage. You only need ifwi.zip to unlock your bootloader.
Intel should have only released ifwi.zip, the rest of the stuff is really unless unneeded junk, LOL I never get why companies waste people's time, all they need to do now is release ifwi.zip for Venue 7 then it would also be unlocked.

- c.- select the reboot system now option.
4.- This entire process should be restore my tablet but nooo!!
