Wow. Hadn't read anything anywhere else about the fact that this new version is pretty much a tablet app as well. Not exactly what I'd hoped for (wish it had the call back feature enabled like the ipod/pad version does) but ill take background data for now. Hmmm. Big news.
and a pretty useful widget to boot!
I have a problem with this though. The notifications disappear as soon as they pop up. Any way to fix this?

Mine isn't doing this. Maybe try uninstalling/reinstalling and see if that fixes the issue?

Reinstalled and rebooted my tablet and now it's working perfectly. Thanks!
Anyone else getting an "application not installed" after the installer completes? Wondering if it's because I'm on a Verizon lte tab.

Hello all, I can't get it to work. Birthdays don't show up although the option is checked in settings. Anybody out there with this option working?
You have to use Samsung contact/calendar. It won't work with Google contact/calendar

i tried syncing the calendar/contacts.. and is still not showing.. any help?
It started working for some reason starting from this new year. I didn't change anything. Pie is showing for my Google contacts birthdays.

Sorry for taking up this old thread again, but I think that it's better than opening a new one.
Well, the issue is the next: after updating to Android 4.3 stock ROM (the Swiss one: XXUGML2), I have lost the possibility of showing birthday notifications (a cake) in weather widget. The option is not in the configuration menu any more.
Is this a general issue? Any solution?

Hey all. Today I installed Tasker on my s3..I was trying to get "turn wifi on at home" working.. I followed tutorials correctly but it did not worked.
So I tried an easy on like - open music player when headphones inserted.. That did not happen too.. What am I supposed to do?

I use tasker, it is great. It has worked perfectly for me on ICS, CM10 and the Samsung JB leaks.
It sounds like you are missing something obvious, I take it you have ticked the "ON" box on the bottom right of the main screen to activate it ?

It stopped working for me on the LI3 leak but after that's its been working perfectly, before and after LI3.

I have neither flashed nor rooted.. And yes I have activated it..
I have also made some profiles and tasks. But they just don't execute when the situation occurs

Can you just select the task and Press the PLAY button?
Does that open up the Music app.
I'm not sure, but maybe the Music app does get loaded in ram but isn't shown in the foreground.
Btw, you can easily do this with PowerAmp. No need for tasker

If you download the apk from there website it has a 7 day trial. Uninstall then try the website apk and then you'll find out.
I had no problems with tasker when I got my S3 but I've moved to CM10 preview now.

They do a direct purchase via the app or the website which does paypal (as evil as paypal is)

Get an account in Axis bank or buy any credit cards.
Btw Axis bank debit cards(Master) work everywhere.
I have been using Llama for Wifi Auto on when @ home & work, works flawlessly.
It's a free app, try it.

Just installed over MeanROM v4.8. Didn't have to manually copy to /system/.
Finally has pinch to zoom!

I've de-selected all the options in Settings/Display?Notification flash?
Even tried Light Flow, no good (My EVO went berserk when i was using that app)
