Hi I just bricked my Neo V, I try to unlock bootloader with testpoint method, but I've got error and my phine won't boot now, and I can't enter in flaash mode (green don't show up), my device is recognized only in test point as Zeus Flash. The error is MINOR ERROR MISC_CLASS:MISC_ERROR, TA_invalid,_format_may_be_required. Any idea how to revert my phine back to life ? Please guys help me with this, this is my first time when I can't found any solution myself. My Neo is simlock free and I have on it a ICS 4.0.4 stock, sorry for my bad english.

Can you enter in FASTBOOT mode (pressing menu while connecting USB cable).
Usually a blue light shows up.
Try s1 Tool again from the begining

Hello everybody!
Recently bought a xperia Neo V and would like to install custom roms on it and kernels,
however I can not put the device in fastboot mode mode to flash the kernel.
Have rooted the device, installed the CWM and the unlocked bootloader by testpoint method.
According researched, to enter the fastboot mode should hold the menu button and insert the USB cable
but when I do that the phone turns on a red light and charging symbol appears. the device goes into flash mode (green LED) and has usually managed to install custom roms but not kernel.
My phone is SIM unlocked.
I appreciate all the help available ...
Sorry for my poor english...

If your phone is sim locked you cannot enter in fastboot because it is also locked.
You have to unlock the phone (search for SE Tool or Omnius) and then you'll be able to enter into fastboot mode.

Type *#*#7378423#*#* if rooting status =yes then you should have fastboot, power off the phone hold menu and connect to pc led should be blue, if not try reinstalling the drivers. Tbh flashtool handles fastboot too, I don't know why less experienced people don't just use that, you can't make a mistake with the commands and it solves the driver issues.,

There are many threads that walk you through setting up fastboot, or if you in a hurry or too lazy to search use the fastboot toolbox included in flashtool.

Neo V Not entering into FastBoot
HI,
I have Sony Ericsson xperia Neo (MT11i 11W41). Couple of days before I received online update. I accepted, and downloading and installation started.
After that my mobile gone sleep mode. NO LCD Display not charging indication. Green led flashes on mobile charging, and orange 3 flashes on Power up.
I spent lot of time on net but could not find solution to power up my mobile. I did many firmware through flash tool, Zero point and S1 Tool But no solution.
Even I tried Emma, it displayed all information and shows “Phone is locked”.
Any help to solve this issue?
Hi
I unlocked my daughter's Ray with wotanserver and it worked fine but I think she might have done an OTA update as she got a message to say the the sim was unrecognised and she needed a reset, which she did and then brought the dead phone to me.
It does not boot at all and does not show up on the PC
BUT
It does get to the Sony logo when I plug in the charger or try to fastboot to PC. (Goes into fastboot with Flashtool but led goes red and is not recognise when I try to use ADB command line to use bootloader unlock with fastboot.)
Flashtool, S1tool and SUS all recognise it.
I have reflashed it with both Flashtool and SUS and tried repair with sitool and wotan.
I have tried different methods on the forum but nothing works even though it doesn't seem completely bricked.
Does anyone have any ideas?
Thanks
If its truly ota brick try

Thanks - it was worth a try!
Still no change except the loader has changed from r4A069 to R4A069.
Does this mean the bootloader is now definitely locked and I need to unlock it to get the phone to boot?

I though I should say that the power button does nothing at all, the phone only boots to Sony logo when connected to PC or the charger is plugged in.
Is it possible the boot loader is corrupted?
Since trying the OTA unbrick, apart from the bootloader being locked, I cannot connect in fastboot.
Having read around it could be that the Trim Area is corrupted but the fixes I have found do not work. When I try to flash a loader (x10 but meant to work on all xperias) I get an error from flashtool saying there is an error reading the loader, sin header..
Any ideas at all would really help.
Could anyone help if I try one step at a time?
First, I want to unlock the bootloader to see if that helps with the bootloop problem.
I cannot enter fastboot anymore to use flashtool or command prompt unlock.
When I connect to flashtool in fastboot, I get the message that the phone is connected without USB debugging and then the LED changes to red (charging) and the device disconnects.
Any ideas please?

When trying to flash back to stock firmware with flashtool, flashtool recognizes the phone when connected in flashmode, but then trying to flash, flashtools shows "Error flashing. Aborted" when it gets to 'Flashing Loader'. Please I need help. What do I do?

I tried using PC Companion to revert to stock rom. but it seems Sony PC companion only detects my phone in kind of an offline mode 'cuz it doesn't show my phone name after connecting in flash mode and then when I click 'Start' on the 'Update Software' module it just shows a blank screen with only 'Back' at the left corner. am I missing something? Please can anyone help me with a step by step procedure on how to go about it

I copy and pasted this from another post of mine
Depending on what version of Flashtool you use! Get this one - flashtool-0.9.10.1-windows
Install flashtool and driver's from flashtool folder.
Connect and make sure your phone is recognised
Click the padlock symble to root your phone. If anyone else is doing this, as you said your already rooted
If you want to install recovery you can! click on the white cross on black background symble second from the right.
If your Bootloader is not unlocked click plugins you can unlock bootloader from there. Check if its Possible for your phone!
If it is already unlocked you wont get the menu from plugins.
Remember google is your friend find that version of flashtool - S1 tool
And use S1 tool to check if you can unlock your bootloader someone may know another tool
Goodluck

Yes..As suggested in the Procedure,
1.Powered off the device.
2.Powered in ON,Simultaneously Presseing Menu Button & Plugged USB Cable in and fast boot button kept pressed.
3.While Mobile is booting can see Blue LED Indicator flash once and Mobile completes to boot to safe mode as shown on the Home Screen.
Is it the right procedure or I am missing anything??
Follow the steps in this http://unlockbootloader.sonymobile.com/instructions you seem to be missing the win usb file...

May be issue with drivers
After connecting to computer in fastboot mode check the following. It is the 15th point in sony developer tutorial.
Enter fastboot.exe -i 0x0fce getvar version, and verify that you get a response back (for example "0.3"). This means your device is connected properly.
If you don't get "0.3" or may be "0.5" your drivers are not properly installed. That is the cause of "waiting for device"
Hello everyone,
please help me out.
I tried to flash a custom rom on my sony ericsson live with walkman but flashed a wrong file using fastboot. It was just a mistake and it was done after one second since the file size was only 90kb. There was no chance I could have stopped it. And now I have no access to flash mode, or fastboot. Battery is not chanrging anymore. It seems it is bricked :crying:
Is there any tool which can flash the hardware again? May be kinda developer tool... It makes me sad
Please help!!!

i have a similar problem. i have a wt19i manufactured 11w48 with .62 fw. i can't enter flashmode or fastboot. the led blink for like 0,5 seconds and then it boot into charging mode, showing the batttery on the display.i've tried testpoint, flashtool, s1tool(that says "finished", but can't flash anything since i can't enter flashmode nor fastboot) and every other method here, tried to restore/update with pc companion, but it's impossible without entering flashmode. how do i know if i have unlocked bootloader since s1tool seems to unlock but flashmode and fastboot aren't working? i have already rooted and bootloader status "yes". i have successfully unlocked/rooted/flashed in the past x10 mini(x2),xperia mini, xperia neo, xperia ray, xperia play,an lg p350, a galaxy ace..anybody willing to help? can't seem to find anything here on xda, everything i've tried doesn't work no flashmode or fastboot, just 0,5 seconds blinking led.anyone knows if is there a way or how to uninstall drivers so i can do a clean install? i've tried both the android sdk adb, s1 tool drivers and flashtools flashmode/ fastboot drivers..and last, couldit possibly be a hardware isue? phoneis working great and has no problem aside of what's said above..
