My weather widget keeps saying I'm in "Waterloo" no matter where I am. And I'm in Gwynn Oak, MD (Woodlawn/Catonsville). It was working before, but after this update it started acting crazy. I tried clearing the app and disconnecting GPS and reconnecting. Still not working
Any ideas

It seems my phone is no longer syncing normally as expected. GMail doesn't seem to be pushing email and the built-in EMail app isn't notifying me either. Other random apps aren't syncing properly, either. It happens over both 3G & Wi-Fi. Sometimes restarting will fix for a moment as everything gets synced and notifications pop up for G/EMail. Twitter is about the only app that seems to be working properly.
Also GPS constantly stops working. A restart usually will re-enable it but it keeps failing. Opening Maps or other GPS-enabled apps does not get fix (GPS icon never appears). Even the GPS On/Off toggle does nothing most of the time.
I'm running Eclipse 1.3 on a 2.3.4 kernel with the beautiful ICS theme (Email app NOT themed). No settings were ever changed and checked to be set properly. I've even tried wiping Cache/Davik without success. I want to see if there is anything I can do before trying to Wiping/SBF back to 2.3.4 stock and reflashing.
All of a sudden today, when unlocking my phone, I've seen this message pop up on the home screen for like 2 seconds. I figured it was just a random fluke and powered down but then when I went to click on refreshing my weather widget which is always set to the same zip code, it happened again. This widget is set to manual refresh, I have to click it to get an updated forecast. Then it happened again a few minutes later after simply unlocking the screen like it was doing earlier.
I've had Network Location services for wifi and gps turned off for a good 3 weeks or so. I only activate those on an as-needed basis. I don't use any apps that acquire my location (weather, facebook, etc.) I have the bear minimum apps running in 'Running Services' and I'm running the configuration in my sig (UnNamed, Entropy's DD, ICScrewd Theme). Any ideas what's going on?
does it happen every time you refresh the weather widget?
if it does I would try a different widget, just to see whether it goes away.
I just had GMail do this to me this morning (when I tried to refresh - I have that set to manual). I turned on location services (wifi and GPS) and let it get my location, then turned them back off. That seemed to take care of it. Might be a cookie based kind of thing - I loaded a new ROM yesterday and hadn't let it get a lock yet.
I just remembered that I updated Google Maps yesterday via the Market. I think that's the culprit. I can't see any setting though which I can change to disable automatic updating. I've gotten this message now like 3 times this morning.
Ive temporarily turned on Location Services for wifi/GPS but I prefer them off as I get much better battery life with them disabled.

This seems to be happening to me more and more. Cannot pinpoint the culprit.
is this still an issue for anyone? It certainly is for me

Tap the weather widget, and see what you have it configured to do. Also, if you have it set to update on your current location, but have aGPS turned off, it can't update.
Can't help you with @AsusMusic though. Wifi off maybe? There are better streaming apps out there anyway. Try Pandora or Slacker.
I have the same problem with weather widget only if I use a tethered bluetooth connection, if I connect thru wifi the widget refreshes successfully.
Maybe this widget is looking for a wifi connection and not for an internet connection?
i used a paper clip and pushed the button on the side next to the SD card and it fixed mine. I was having the same problem yesterday and figured I might as well reset the tablet to see what's the worse that can happen. reset, fixed. even my news and weather widget is working correctly now. good luck!
I keep getting errors from play store saying "Connection Timed Out". It's been happening all day and it happens on 3G or Wifi. Anybody else having this problem. I noticed Youtube was acting up too. It lost my account info and I was getting connection errors. Everything else seems to be working fine like the browser and other apps that use data.
I haven't used play store much today but it's fine the times I have used it

Play Store is not letting me DL apps. It starts the download, but never finishes, it just stays at the DL part. Cleared Data and signed back in, same problem. This is new today, as I used it yesterday and it was fine.
Edit: just tried to play a video from Youtube and it wont DL either. Must be a Google problem??
Play Store seems to be working fine on my phone, but when I go to download an app via my laptop it gets stuck on 'Loading device compatibility'
Looks like it's most likely a Google issue and not the phones. I'll monitor it. Hopefully they get it all sorted out soon.
I noticed this the day I bought the phone.
It's really annoying when I've got app updates. If I click on the batch update button to update multiple apps, it won't complete unless I stay on the update page and keep the phone from going to sleep. Otherwise, the first app will update and the rest will stall on "downloading". This happen pre and post root.
Very annoying.

Hi,
I just flashed CM9-ZIII. I keep getting this message ("NetworkLocationProvider stopped working") pop up. Usually with an app that uses GPS eg, maps, weather. Strangely I didn't notice this the first time I flashed this ROM. Is this a known issue?
