Anyone having any issues streaming Pandora radio over 3g.
I am on Sprint and an currently running phantoms latest rom.
I can get Pandora radio to work with Wi-Fi but won't work with 3g with full strength.

I have same problem I even change baseband 3 times still same problem tunein works fine and speeds on 3g are over 1 meg. Same thing on cm 10

I think its a cdma radio issue

So my wife downloaded the latest version of Pandora on her Sprint iPhone 4s and it works just fine. So this issue can't be network related. Must be an issue with our s3's.
I did revert back to the previous version add mentioned and all is working now.
Wonder why the latest version had issues on our phones?

Im on sprint and been using the latest pandora since day 1 on my s3 but switched back to my older transparent blue themed pandora, just for unlimited skips. I live in Hawaii so idk maybe its location.

Mine work great but I have ATT LTE. I too have the unlimited skip MOD.... Luv it! Check your settings to see if something is amiss or maybe its your ROM. Good luck

I've had the same problem with my sprint s3... did everything I could find to do.
1.) Got my MSL number and changed the RTSP server and HTTPPD both to zeros.
2.) Changed my modem back to LF9
3.) Changed my radio to do LTE and CDMA not just CDMA
Then finally after all that and no luck I just installed the older 1.5 app and it works!!!!! No images or anything but I don't care!!! Try it! It will work

Yes, this affects my TB as well. Switch to 3G or Wifi and usually videos will begin to play within a few seconds. Sometimes on 4G, YouTube videos will not load. I suspect this is due to an issue with the YouTube app itself, but have no concrete proof. I am in Houston and am running a rooted/deodexed/debloated version of 2.11.605.19

It's on every new rom and I use imosense kernel... IM in Colorado springs.... It will just keep loading on 4g but wifi or 3g it plays instantly.... I've went from the .19 radios to the .9 and it's still there....

It's an issue with imo's leankernel. He fixed this in his aosp version but I don't know if he has it nailed down for his gbsense version.

I dont notice it in my area, this phone has better service than any other i have used on VZW, you want want to update your radio and see if that helps. You could also go into Settings/More Settings/Mobile Networks/Preferred Networks and change it to CDMA/LTE/EVDO instead of Global mode.

Trying to figure out why my wife's note 2 running JB v16 has one bar of WIFI sitting right next to my vzw S3 with full bars of WIFI signal.
This has been an issue on every note 2 rom I have flashed.
Does anyone have any possible Idea of what the heck is going on?

Check your broadband. This will tell you what your radio's are set to. If you have updated roms, but never updated radios, that may be your problem.

Running 4.1.2 mc3 broadband. This has been an issue for months with her phone on every Rom and radio.

I find my wifi signal is usually really weak compared to other devices too but I really figure it may just be a problem with a few of the N2s.

I have no idea what the problem is, but the situation is exactly opposite in my house. S3 struggles to connect and stay connected, while Note almost always has full bars on wifi.

I know most non-tw roms have similar bugs but do these have any major ones?
Yeah GPS only works with location by mobile network disabled and 5ghz WiFi is not working and head phone audio in a phone call. So that about it if you can survive with out any of those I listed and aosp ROM is suitable.

5GHz wifi works fine but you have to change the channel to 48 or below.

When my gps wasn't locking even with the wifi assist off work around there is another possible fix. Back up your rom then flash tw based rom and get a full gps lock. Restore other rom and then was able to get locks fine (with workaround disabling the one checkbox)

My GPS locks fine with the wifi location checked on Carbon 6/20 with stock kernel. I am locked on 11 satellites indoors right now on the bottom floor of my house.
But..looking at gps status it seems like the magnetic sensor does not work.

GPS has always worked for me on Cyanogenmod. I'd say it's by far the most stable since most others base themselves off it.

Any "What's the Best...." or "What's the most stable....." Threads are a matter of opinion for the members running them and exactly how they use their phone. Therefore what may be stable or best for them will not be the same for you. There is no substitute or shortcut to backing up, reading and flashing yourself. This is why these threads are always closed.

Ok so I'm running the latest beanstalk build and I've tried with a few roms, but i would like to play a few games on my phone which have multi player feature but it won't let me connect through carrier network only wifi works, games such as Modern combat 4 and blitz brigade, works fine on other phones through carrier network but only works on wifi on my phone, it just tells me No Internet connection but I'm clearly connected to LTE network, there is one exception and that is the new Madden 25 that works off my carrier connection......

and still not able to connect to the multiplayer with carrier network, wifi must be connected, but on ny girls galaxy S3 it works fine on carrier network :-/ any thoughts

Nope.
It's a different device. Maybe it has to do with SVDO being available on Jewel, I don't know. Looks like you're just going to have to accept it or get a different device.
