Trying to use tasker to turn on background data when I launch Google Play Store. Any ideas are appreciated. I have tried tasker several times and can never seem to figure it out right.

go into the market and download an app called " Spare Parts" open it up and it should be the last option.

Is anyone using the most recent nightly having issues with Google Music not being able to play songs that are not on the phone?

Are you using google's 2-step login? I had problems with it. I think I fixed it by just removing the 'application' password (in the google 2-step verification menu via a PC) I used for the google account on the phone and then made a new one. When you check gmail on the phone, it will prompt for the new password. After that it worked.
I have searched and searched and searched for this app but I cannot find the free version on Xda. I can find it in topics and posts but I cannot find the actual app can someone please help

By the way, Google searching "betterbatterystats xda" turned up the correct thread, on the first result. Searching from the app won't do you any good. Load up your browser and try from there in the future.

You can also just use Root Explorer.....takes two seconds....data>system>batterystats bin.....delete it.
Yeah....misread OP...thought he was talking about one of those calibration apps. I do realize they are not needed....but hey....everyone on here has a theory

Not the same thing what the OP is asking for and that doesn't make a difference on our phones.
Hi all,
I have googled, searched and even called Google themselves but I cannot start a download from my desktop browser and have it install on my phone.
Phone does nothing at all, sits there pretending I haven't asked it to do anything.
The app will appear in My Apps in the play store and I can download and install from the device directly.
I've followed the guidelines on Google website, signing out of talk etc but still no luck.
I did manage to make it work by going back to stock, then flashing SuperNexus but within four days it's broken again.
Does anyone have any ideas what may be causing this and how to resolve it?
Try using a different Google account to setup the phone then sign in on the Web

Remove the Google account from the phone, reboot and log in again.
Thanks for the tips but still no joy.
Google refuse to help because I'm rooted!

I sometimes have the same problem. Toggling WiFi or data off then back on seems to do the trick usually.

Nope, sits there doing nothing as if I haven't touched a thing.
The Badger, that somehow managed to sort it! I can't believe such a simple toggle can fix a problem that I've been struggling to sort for a week!

Flash the mikrom... It has a killer flashlight app already installed And the Rom is pretty bad ass now that I'm talking about it

I cannot find this app at the Goggle Play Store.
I have tried numerous ways to enter the correct command and this Tesla Led app will not show up as available.
So..........be kind enough to tell me what I am obviously doing wrong.
I know I will be embarrassed but.....whatever.

Most likely isn't compatible with our res , you can sideload it from a backup, perhaps from another device.

The screen shot you are showing is the same one I find when I go to the Google Play Store....but that is as far as it goes.
You can click on the top selection of your post and you (at least me) cannot come up with the app to download.
It does not appear.

Yes! I see your post and your screenshot.
But when I go to the store I cannot make that app appear on my DNA as your post shows.
I get other flashlight apps available but not the one you show.
I can access that same image on my computer but not on my phone.
Wish I could tell you what I'm doing wrong.

Alternatively, try a simple Google search. One of the first hits should be a Play store link.

You said the search looks the same on your phone. Click on the first search option, the one with the icon, and it will take you to the app.

I would like to thank all you guys and follow up on this.
I think I might have asked this question in the wrong way from the beginning.
What I should have asked is "can any member here click on the Goggle Play Store app and find the TeslaLed Flashlight app right there"?
No one here said that I won't find the app at the Store: what they said was go to your phone's browser and search there for the TeslaLed app.
Thanks to you I did find it and I downloaded it to my DNA.
Also the obvious fact that I'm new at this shows that I was not even aware that I might not find that app at the Store.
On the other hand if any of you DID find the app at the store then I have other problems which are better left alone.
It's better that I don't know that everybody except me can find that app at the Store.
Deep down there is a lot about software that leaves me (totally) in the dark.
