Hi guys i've had my S3 for a couple months now and love it and have not regretted making the change from the 4s in the slightest. i had a I9000 before i got an s4 and had darky's rom installed on there and want to put it onto my s3 also as it seemed to up the performance and speeds a little. but im a complete noob when it comes to these things could anyone link me to a step by step guide on how to flash my s3 with also download links?
I did watch the video before registering i searched for installation guides with the s3 but i only found guides for the original S so i made a new thread

im sorry my bad. and i found out that every rom made for normal i9100 is not possible to install on m250s

Well you see my friend i am missing out on ics since my version is 2.3.3 and i cannot seem to find any guide on how to upgrade using stock firmware. Mind you im not a newbie because i was very active in the forums of my.previous phone so i know about odin and cwm. I am just wondering where to obtain the firmware and how to update my phone.

Sorry mate i am not saying that you are a newbie but if you take a time to read that i post you could see that in the second post there is a list of all the rom for our SGS2 by gabowinter....

I was wondering, i am very familiar with flashing roms, but I have never flashed a kernel. As i understand it is the same process as a rom, but i was wondering if I am able to flash using any kernel (written for the sgh-i717 model). If not, could anyone give me a few good kernels that would work with the Rom i flashed from the link i posted above? Any help appreciated

If you have the international version the no. That rom is for verizon i545 only. If you flash it there will be a really good chance at a hard brick
