Has anyone used it on the SIII? If so, hows your experience with it? What settings do you use?
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=991276/
I've used it on every android device I've owned, most with fantastic results. The SGS3, however, didn't give me fantastic results. That is partially due to it not being able to fully supercharge our phones [yet].
You want 1000hp settings, and it will do the rest for you.
Possibly due to the amount of ram it doesn't have as much effect. I have used with and without. Same results.

Not true. With more ram it should make more of an effect since, theoretically, more apps will be able to run at the same time.

not quite. the minfrees in v6 arent adjusted for 2GB of ram, so they will perform ram dumps at the 1GB minfree levels
Don't forget about the calculated values...
Kinda neat how it's future proof that way, eh?

So it finally came out and it looks fantastic. But it's carrying a pretty steep price tag at $15. https://market.android.com/details?id=com.spb.shell3d&feature=search_result
I'm curious:
1) Is anyone getting this?
2) Does it actually work with the XT720?
Am curious too!! I wouldn't mind shelling those dollars if it actually works on my device. Cause it looks damn neat and promising.
However they should give a list of devices which are supported and yet to be supported.
I still dint go for it cause I don't know if it is compatible with Dell Streak 5.
peace out!

Had a chance to try it out with the 15 minute window refund. Works fine on XT720. Pretty cool and smooth, but I don't know if I'm actually going to purchase it.

Mine didn't load until I tried like twice I think. Then again it could be an issue with the rom - lots of people seem to be complaining about it working and then no longer working once they switched roms. I'm not using Khal's atm and I'm not even considering buying it until I use the ROM and I see SPB works with it.

I was thinkng maby i should mess with the VM Heap size?
If there was a way to get it working with the good ROMs without sacrificing too much, that would be great. It looks good and I know they are already planning to release more widgets (+WM users seem to have a lot of faith in SPB's dev skills and updates) so I'm potentially interested in getting this - if it works.

I havent thought about using that on this phone yet, but im curious about your experiences with it.
It tells the phone to use the gpu (instead of cpu) to render the UI i believe, but I wonder if any artifacting will happen. And I'm curious how it affects the battery life.

Tried Root Explorer and Rom Toolbox and neither showed this. I am running Joker's 1.4 kernal not sure if that could possibly make any difference???

using rocko's unlocked rom with it nulled out (left it blank) maybe placebo but feels like its better so far as adding it to cm i think cm already removes the flow control im not 100% on that but if you wanna try it make sure you nandroid and or put a .bak after your prop so you can fix if something goes awry.

It's a confusing script to someone like me who doesn't know about the inner workings of a phone, but the creator of the script is right, it really does completely turn your phone's memory around. I use 1000hp (one of the options in the script) and I always have 400-450 mb RAM used, up to 500 mb used if I have a LOT of apps running at once. Without the script running, but on the same ROM, I'm always using a minimum of 550 mb RAM, and it'll get up to almost 700 mb used before the phone will start trying to free some RAM up. InfectedROM Eternity 3.0 has the script built into it now so if you don't want to have to manually install the script, you can go flash that ROM. If you would rather manually install the script on top of whatever ROM you're currently running, go here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1192724&highlight=supercharger and that's about all the help I can give you, I've never attempted to manually add the script to a ROM
So does the script make things faster or what? Because I don't get why many devs don't put it in the rom.

Yes it makes the phone a lot faster because if there's not enough free RAM, your phone will start to lag. I don't know why more devs don't include it in their ROMs, Virus started including it only about 2 weeks ago I believe
EDIT: (Just noticed you're not from the US, I don't know if any GSM ROMs currently include the v6 script or not.)
I just installed it and choosed option 9 because the Evo 3D got 1GB memory. I think it works.
There are also aggressive options but I don't think we need to use that option.

If is a pretty big word.
For example, if your you mom had balls, she'd be your dad.
It's changed ALOT and you have no clue.
Many devs think that Android memory should be untouched and that its perfect the way it is. But they forget that google changes it with each new OS almost every time.
So if it's so perfect "the way it is", then why does google keep "fixing" it?
Because they can't keep up to the SuperCharger, that's why.
Brand new 1.5 ghz, 1 GB ram, dual core phones - people report lag and launcher redraws.
With SuperCharger, it's fixed. No more lag and no more redraws.
Do a search for supercharger for titles only - see how "no devs" use it... so that makes you wrong as well.

Grab latest version if you get errors use wraithdus busybox from the OP.
It makes suggestions based on ram so the device model doesn't matter

some cool things I have found out,
it may be old news for you, and some were mentioned in tech blog space before
1. during my call, i turned the phone face down and it automatically turn to speaker. which was mentioned by engadget and ac, but see it working and give convenience, it is a good fun.
2. go to settings->apps-> all, I can actually disable quite a number of pre-installed bloats, without root or any other hacks. this is awesome. for example, amazon, viewnidi, vz navigator, vz backup plus all those bs, i can disable them, without worrying that if it will fc later or cause trouble =).
oh, disabling those stuff can give me much lower memory usage, and improve battery life because many of them are running at the background.
Guess what Titanium Backup uses to freeze apps by default on Android 4.x. It just uses that Disable feature as far as I can tell.
A few times when I've pulled my phone out friends have mostly just commented on the size, but I don't go on about it with non-tech people usually. I try not to be too showy.
As for cool stuff to do with it, it's really kind of gotten me in to digging in and finding mods to do to it on my own. I haven't really done that so much on my previous phones; only relied on pre-done mods, like I got the recent apps button to turn in to a menu button a good bit before anyone on the thread seemed to get it working, although a lot of the issues probably have to do with people using plain notepad, when better luck would probably be had with a "programmer's" notepad that'd probably load and save with UNIX style newlines.
Also, it gives quite a phone-bulge.

Certain apps/processes can't be disabled in stock Android, but TiBu let's me freeze them.
Honestly Youtube has to be the most impressive thing you can show anyone... the HD quality over 4g is simply great and then they try to load the same video on their apple crap and it looks like 8 bit mario... just make sure its a newer video from within the last year or so or the quality will be horrid.
mainly because everyone has that app and can compare side by side... and be like wow

That's when you may run into problem.
Having root access and do stuff like that, will give unexpected drags in some apps which will affect your battery life or other functions.
For example if some functions or apps are providing system level service to others, and unfortunately if some applications uses them.. and you frozed them... then it is totally depending on the app developers' handling in such case.
either kept polling , or throwing exceptions, FCs etc.
