yes. really thought just me but ever since that new version i get it a lot. its weird cause not every time i launch the app. but most the time. I've wiped data of app, etc doesn't help. runs perfect on nexus 7 no lag so not sure if just bug with the app on this device.

Same here and crashes 3-4 times a day.

I've got it on my GS3 too. I'm also seeing it on my tablet (HTC EVO View 4G). Hope they get it fixed soon or I'll have to find another app to read forums.

It's horrible. Glad I am not the only one.
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I747 using Tapatalk 2

yes it seems to lag. it has gotten better over time but still lags

Yes. The xda app lags too. I get fc a bunch of times. Seems like it happens when I'm in the app for a long time.

I'm using ktoonz 19c kernel and when I had the governor set to lazy, Tapatalk was laggy. After setting it to conservative, it fixed my lag issue.

Scrolling on Ice Cream Sandwhich

Hi guys! I had used AOKP and CM9 for a while, but I recently went back to a gingerbread rom (UnOriginal and CM7) and it feels that Gingerbread has much more responsive/quick scrolling.
Opinions? Any ideas to get ICS scrolling more responsive?
Disable scrolling cache? Also, ics changed the way android scrolls so it has a different feel now

Okay I'll try that. Yeah it's really the "feel" that is different. Sometimes I feel like when i flick the screen to scroll down a list, and then touch the screen again, there is almost a delay in the list from stopping.
Thank you!

Is there any mod or something to revert the scrolling back to how it was?
Or is there even any benefit to upgrading to ICS?
Feels... slow overall.
Go into Galaxy S II Settings and turn down the Touch sensitivity to 20.
On a side note. Turning down touch sensitivity will not prevent girlfriends from attacking.

This same issue in this video is happening with my 3D. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=szOje7dcRlo&feature=youtube_gdata_player Is there away to get rid of it?

Does anyone know what could be causing this? Is this how these phones are period or could it specifically be mines? I mean its bearable but can be kinda irritating. Especially if one is playing a certain game.

Tapatalk and XDA Forum App - Jittery Scrolling

I'm on LH1 (India Latest) and notice serious scrolling jitter when happens when going through posts, even ones with minimal text. Ones where there are images in the post its much worse.
On all other apps its fine, except this.
Nobody else facing this?

It's better with LI8. Scrolling is definitely smoother with the latest jelly bean leak in tapatalk. But yes it used to be very stuttery.

Before I have this problem, now don't experience any of them.try tick force gpu rendering and disable hwlay from developer setting.

Tapatalk 4 beta released [opinions]

Will this is my first post from the app and I must say it takes a little getting use to... It seems that Tapatalk 4 will be merged with Tapatalk HD and that means I'll be buying it again. I'm all for the support of the great app so a few dollars for something I use every day doesn't bother me at all. What are your opinions so far?

Seems pretty good so far im not so hot about them merging it with hd version though. Loving the new UI in a few updates this should be perfect. Only downside its slower then normal Tapatalk

Something is wrong with the notifications in XDA... I never receive notifications from subscribed threads!!!
My configurations on tapatalk are right.....perhaps I have something misconfiguration on XDA site but I can't figure out:crying:!!!
Anyone had this issue?
Thanks in advance

Got my note2!

Have to figure out the best way to hold it with 1 hand because top left and menu key at a bit of a reach.
My s3 feels like an iPhone in comparison, it feels dainty, lol!
Can't wait to get it rooted and use a DPI closer to what I have on the s3 w/slim bean to really take advantage of all the screen real estate

You should use lmt so you don't have to reach down for the soft keys.

Just got my Note 2 last night. Upgraded from Galaxy NEXUS. My wife had the note 2 since February so I knew how great of a phone it was. Kept my unlimited data as well. It was a win-win. I should be very content for a long time.

My wife picked one up a couple weeks ago. Been running a Pac-man 4.3 nightly from 9/15. Pretty slick.
My absolute favorite accessory for this phone is the Flygrip. Makes it way easier and much more comfortable to use the phone one handed. That with LMT/Pie and I have no problem one handing this phone all day.

I like the two way stand part - I have a stand case now but the UI just doesn't look right sideways, and some things never rotate (like the phone). Any stand makes the speaker phone work better though.
Well got a replacement today, first one was vramc3, but had an annoying buzz in phone calls. New one (from costco) is vrall4, and no buzz that I can hear, yay.
Time to root!
