My ray is looked to one network, is there anyway i can unlock it for free so i can use any network i want?
I am 99% sure that there is no free way, someone correct me if i am wrong

yes, something like that. have anyone tried it? is it free? i dont have the phone yet i will get it in 6 days so i cant test it.

I just deleted it and put it in q and a, but I'm not so sure any rom developers may look before it gets lost down the list. I don't want to post obviously in all the Devs rom threads to ask them all individually. Just thought I'd reach more help in this forum

There are not SO many developers, you could pm each of them if you need something.
So I'm new to the xda application but not flashing and customizing my phone I'm .currently running miui 1.11.18 having very few issues but when trying to post and ask ?s it says I'm a noon and can't post anything go to q&a wtf I want to participate in the tomorrow forum feel I can help some others but I'm stuck

Yes, listen to nate420. Make sure you read the rules, and if your going to post in the development section, they ask you to not start new threads unless you have something that you have developed, and its ready for testing. Also, if you have questions, that pertain to the rom,mod, app your using, please do ask if you need help, but ask in the thread.

Thank you and no im not spamming to get my posts In lol. One of the things I have done thus far is turn my 3vo into a portable snes using my sixaxis controler so I started a thread for like minded gamers who may be interested in doing the same thing. Id rather be a help than a headache lol

Your backseat modding is starting to get annoying..
If real mods are OK you do this, please let the other users know. OR, ask to become a mod for the Ray forum

Let other users know what? I am just following the rules of the forums that you agree to when you register and trying to help keep the ray forum from getting cluttered, just because no one else does anything about it.
There is a Rules post, and a questions post it is very simple yet people do not read and understand

I'm letting chiefy009 help out by creating the questions thread since the XDA administration's decided to leave out a Q&A forum for this device. Just make sure to continue to report all of the offending threads. Hopefully we can keep things relatively clean.

Talked to O2 Live Chat asking if I could unlock my bootloader (mine says unlock bootloader allowed: no) she said I must ring tech support & they'll do it.
Anyone done it with that?

Umm, it's in the right section?
Should be under general Q&A thread. Let me know how it goes. I have locked bootloader version as well, but it is different country and carrier.

i post a question today, i come tomorrow to find 30 questions asked after me then 20 answers for questions before me then maybe no one has even read my question !!!!
it has to be a sub forum not a THREAD !!!!!!!
there's NO WAY we can ask/answer UNRELATED questions together !!!!

The last post you made in the Q&A thread was on 11 June, the rest have been in dev section abit like this one. If your question has not been answered then maybe its because there is no answer or maybe its because your questions can be answered by using the search button! Very rare for me to ask how to do something or how to fix something, rather than ask someone to do it for me, I research, learn, do it myself and if I don't know how I just use the search button it works like a charm and if that fails then I use Google.

Agreed, the questions thread (as it stands) is just a convenient place for people's questions to be swept under the carpet and forgotten about. I'm sure that's not the intention, but that's how it works in practice. Big changes are needed!

i also do hope of having a separate forum for xperia Ray.. i think we also have a decent numbers of Xperia users to have a separat forum..
