Developement for this device hasnt came to full swing yet, hell wejust got root a while back and s-off a few weeks ago. As fsr ad i know we havent gotten full kernel source yet. Be patient, the forum is still young. A little more time and you wont know what to flash next...

I'm genuinely curious - what exactly are you hoping to see here? I just took a look at their dev section. They have like 5 or 6 roms, and just a few mods. we have 10+ roms and more mods. Can you describe some of the "awesome stuff" that you think we're missing out on? Are you talking about JB and CM?

The guys who got there hands on it were couple best dev 4g has who had hand in rooting the original. No doubt wthey will keep quiet til launch, but id say if what i read was true and pretty certain it is they prolly already have it done. Besides htc has been awesome with whole issue anyways. Very tiny chance they cant get past it htc will step up as always and solve it asap. Moto photon is simply a nightmare for motorola. They already losing stock big time now with this issue? 3D will outsell it 20 to 1. The rest will buy sammy. I was in bb in boro tn and the bb playbook? Lol dude said they have yet to sell ONE! Moto deserves same fate after that dont like locked bootloader buy elsewhere. Uhhh sure thing ill do exactly that you freaking noob!

I watched them dev the new version for the Flyer last night. Depending on how many more device they plan to include is how long it will be. Remember once they get the bootloader to s-off they also are having to port a recovery. Every device must be tested on every rom/hboot version. That is a lot of **** to do. Especially if they only have one or two devices. I hope it's soon though!

If the hero 4g gets root and roms before the the EVO 3d does ill reluctantly have to jump ship on this phone.
The hero 4g won't be good enough to jump ship to its gonna be a minor upgrade from the oh evo compared to the 3d I mean it's single core for petes sake. I think it will be aimed at the mid ranged community. I don't tho. Kinda this phone lives up to the hero name like the first one did

OK here is a question. If they have S-off for the sensation why not test it and put it out for the sensation , and then add other phones to the list afterwards? I think this would stop most of the useless threads in the sensation thread and the 3vo ?? Why try putting it out for thirty phones all at once and then when a new phone comes out holding off to test that too.

Exactly! Why wait to release for all phones. Supposedly they have had S-Off for the Sensation & 3D for weeks and now we see CWM running. So they have S-Off, root and now a Recovery. What's the hold up? Release it already. The whole stable, bricking excuse is getting old. If some people brick trying, oh well. We all know the risk we take when we tamper with our phones. Take it back to Sprint and start over. If you guys don't have TEP on your $600 smartphones then you need to stay the hell away!

The video was a leak we weren't even supposed to know there was s off yet for our devices their developing for multiple devices I would assume so that whatever exploit they use isn't patched on everything as cool as it would be to have s off on EVO 3d and sensation right now If.they let it out those other guys who want s off for their devices that NORMALLY WOULD HAVE USED A SIMILAR ARX EXPLOIT. Would be in the boat were in now lookin at other s off devices goin man I wish we had that.... By makin it as universal as possible it services more communities for a more extended period of time

Hacked is to get a hacked eng hboot (alpharevx) on our phone it essentially would serve the same purpose

a leak is doubtful at this point....when is the last time the 3D saw a leak for any of its OTA's its gotten before hand?......
The new EVO will run LTE only and being a completely different chipset and hardware top to bottom will give the devs here very little help in anything for the 3D...

Haha yeah...to be honest the sprint exec saying lte phones won't show up till late 3rd qtr early 4th really was my basis for my bet...June release for the new EVO throws a link in the plans...
Just hope Sprint takes note from ATT and not delay an OTA just because a device is being released...

Meh, I say the 3d is not going to get ICS OTA because Sprint hasn't even put out their ICS phones. Why would they OTA it when they need to push the new products? They are in fact a company in it for the money, OTA ICS would not make sense (har har) as far as a sales standpoint, why let the consumers have they new stuff for free when you want to push the latest and greatest phone you have to offer?
I could be terribly wrong as well, a leak sure why not but I have no faith in an OTA from Sprint. Hell today's event could be the release of the Kyocera Echo 2 now with dual cores!!!! (seriously that would suck though)

It's funny you say that. I was reading an article that apple got an injunction to stop it from coming in so they were held at customs. Some suit about patent infringement. It said htc came up with a work around to get them in while they sort it out. Maybe htc had to install it to enable the work around then unroot once whatever it was got working?...
you might as well go and check the bootloader for S-OFF too

Now I can't tell if your being serious. It was supposed to come out a week earlier and so I'm assuming it was held up while they did what they had to do. Or do you mean it came out a long time before that?
I've been using my rooted photon for a few months so never had a need for the lte forum, so yes I've been away from it.
I'll get started reading since I have my LTE.
Does everyone here on this forum have an LTE? I'm assuming not....

Yeah, hehe, I think that's what happened. It downloaded a bunch of apps automatically. That is awesome, haha! I wonder if it downloaded all the apps I downloaded to my photon. That would be sweet.
edit: It only download some apps. I'm having to download a few more
boot into the bootloader and see what it says. if you have s-off, we need a system dump. if you just have SU installed, and it's just sitting there, not a big deal.

I don't think I have s-off, but when I hit the power and volume down it doesn't seem to want to go to bootloader. I try some more

Go to power under settings and turn off fast boot then turn the phone off and go.from there
