Which way should I go? - Galaxy Tab 10.1 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi
Another relative newbie here.
I have a 10.1 GT-P7500 running:
Version 3.2
Baseband version P7500XKL4
Kernel: 2.6.36.3 [email protected]#1 PREEMPT
Build Number: Overcome 10.1 Series v2.3.0 P7500CELB1
So it is a 3G version
I want to upgrade to ICS at least and jellybean if it is stable (I think I need to wait for that one)
I have rooted the device, so my question.
Which version of ICS (or Jellybean) would you install. Also if its not to much hassle, how do I find it? (I warned you I was a newbie)
If it is relevant (I have no idea) i am in Aus
Thanks heaps
I will be very grateful for your ideas and suggestions.
J

[Q] Galaxy S2 No micro on SipPhone ICS ROM Ressurection Remix

Hi everyone,
I'm creating this thread, because I'm in need of some help with my galaxy s2 phone.
I have instaled Ressurection Remix ICS room.
Model: GT-I9100
Version Android: 4.0.4
Base: I9100XXLPQ
Kernel Version: [email protected] )
#72 SMP PREEMPT Mon Apr 9 05:26:57 EEST 2012
Compilacion Number: v32-11.04-remix-edition
Mod version: ressurection remix ics v1.4 by westcrip 4.0.4
So, now the problem:
I installed already diferent sip phones, CSipSimple,Linphone, Sipdroid. But in all I have the same problem, I can register, I can reveice and make calls, but the audio from my phone to outside is not working. It seams that micro is not working.
I already read some threads and found some info in CSipSimple, about to change the source of micro.
I already tested it a lot of times, and changed to a lot of diferente sources. But currently it stills not working.
Can anyone give me a hand on this?
Thanks in advance.
Regards,
Buhl3r

You can't be on andriod 3. that is for tablets only. go check out the galaxy s2 section on xda. there are tons of roms
Wrong Information?
I sought this information in the cell. Android Version: 3.0
So it's a bug in Android?
How can I be sure the version of Android?
And the updates?

that is really weird. where did you get the phone. the model number appears to not exist. i9100 is the galaxy s2 so it is some form of that. I can tell you that unless it is some weird build that I have never heard of, it is impossible to run 3.0 (honeycomb) on a phone..
what are the important information?
I tested FIFA 2012 in Android 3.0 that should actually be 2.3 and it was good (Phones Chinese).
Returning to the theme of this topic, what are the important information that I consider to upgrade my phone to CyanogenMod or to redo the installation of Android 2.3?
The specifications of the cell is in the first post
did you find rom for your device?
can somone provide link for dovnload roms for mt6573?

If you really want to try something new i would recommend upgrading to ICS or jelly bean. The custom roms are amazing and you will be very impressed. But it's up to you. You seem pretty happy with what you have now...

I would recommend a ICS or a JB ROM too. Especially the JB Roms are working pretty good. I was impressed myself.
And the Battery is also much better with JB Roms than with ICS. Then you have a variety of new Kernels to try out.
And if you are Newb or noob don't flash 4.0.4 pls
