Font changer is fine. Just do nandroid before changing fonts. Some fonts don't work and your phone will bootloop. This way you can restore nandroid.

Does anyone know which fonts are safe to change ive changed a few but i know theres more to change and everytime i try i get sent into a boot loop well in my case a frozen splash lol anyways any help would be appreciated

Its when your phone keeps replaying the boot animation and wont boot or in the ltes case it gets stck on a blank black screen or the splash screen

This is my first time trying to make a boot animation from scratch so if anything is wonky let me know. This is v.01 alpha and I will be updating it with more effects an whatnot.
DESC:
It's a dark boot animation based with a Sharingan (Naruto!) Android. So far I've only worked on the eye animation but I will be working on animating the whole screen in future versions.
INSTALL:
---I am not responsible if anything crazy happens to your phone---
Must be root. Should work with all custom roms (gingerbread&froyo)
Use Root Explorer
Push bootanimation.zip to /system/media (mount as r/w)
Reboot

Made a splash screen for it as well. The transition to the boot animation is good. It is attached...just unzip and place in the root of your sdcard

INSTALL:
1. Place custom.img in the root of your sdcard
2. Open Terminal emulator and su
3. type dd if=/mnt/sdcard/custom.img of=/dev/block/mmcblk0p19 (make sure this is correct). It will write the splash image.
4. Reboot
Let me know what yall think so far
v.03 is up. Added some swords for the android...might customize it more (ninja mask, etc)
Also, MyTouch 4G pulses and the eyes spin

Care to share on how you installed a custom boot animation?
For all of you:
Go to UOT Kitchen and follow their instructions. You can change icons, fonts, bootanimation, acc. battery, etc. They cook up a flashable .zip for you in under 20 mins. It is SUPER easy and self-explanatory.

Miui just released this app which will let you choose any of the Miui lockscreens. Some don't work due too resizing but I found the the honeycomb styled work really well.

seem like there is a bug for Amaze, u could download Multitouch test, and test it after you installed the locker app. you will know what problem is

I like this. It has similar features to GoLocker, but this is stand alone (GoLocker requires GoLauncher installed )
So far every theme I find has Chinese letters and the ones that don't have Chinese letters don't fit the screen resolution. Still browsing, though at least there are a lot of choices.
Edit: is there any customization for the second button in some of the themes? Default messaging app is fail for me.
I loaded this and the theme I like just fine this morning. Easy to use and works well, but is missing the ability to pin unlock the screen... Hopefully, the developers add this in soon.

What Rom are you running?
I have used Font Installer by JRummy since the first hour I was rooted. Never an issue. Set it again and manually reboot. I have had to do that before. If still no. Run fix permissions in Superuser.

ive done this twice now, and it takes the first time after reboot. in fact, before ive even rebooted the phone, i can see the font has changed on some widgets
Does anyone know how I can get inversion (white to black on a ROM?) I'd like it in the settings and the contacts of the phone. Its in some Roms already but I don't know how to pull it and put the files in the ROM of my choice. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks
