yes it is possible and some devlopers are working on it..we will see it on our xperia range in future
As far as I know the most difficult is to port graphics to MDPI

Kamarush and exPeacer are already working on GB n ICS ports of MIUI

no, but make miui from nothing is the most difficult.
There are already lwW MIUI (based on CM9.0) for all, who wants to test. Kamarush is going to finish his own port soon too (As I understood). And there was Expeacer, who develops an mini pro miui (based on the same android 4.0)

[Q] Vanillla JB 4.2 for Xperia Ray - is it possible?

Is it possible to somewhere and somewhen to get ROM with Vanilla Jelly Bean 4.2 for Xperia Ray? ...any hope in the future?
I tried CM10 but there are lot of bugs. I've been used Galaxy Nexus with JB4.2. It is great OS, no need to any improvements. How difficult is to port the same for Xperia Ray? What should be done (how much work?) for it?
There is already a ROM based on android 4.2 in the Ray development forum
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1803076
But it will be even more buggy due to the lack of sources and camera libs...
According to FXP team... The toughest part is the camera and updraded development of 4.2 kernel

port Xperia T JB to mdpi

hey there
as you know sony has published JB update for xperia T. in dev section, there is already a port of xperia J ICS rom for mdpi. so is it possible to port the JB rom for mdpi?
it would be great to have a JB rom source other than FXP...
The major task is porting the 3.x kernel
Which is very difficult... And yet unachieved... But devs are trying
In Dev Forum are already custom rom with ported Xperia T Rom.

The Creator was told, that will be updated to jb this rom. So be attention.

[Q] Unofficial Stock Android 4.2 for Xperia U?

Hey guys, since I've been curious more about stock ROMs after getting Android 4.1 ported by our world-class developers from Xperia P, so my question is, are we going to get unofficial stock 4.2??

No i think Xperia U & sola users won't get Stock Android v4.2 except Xperia P or Xperia go get the Official 4.2 so that the developers can port it.
but if xperia p gets a stable 4.2 then don't u think the developers will port from it to our xperia u? Afterall they've ported 4.1 from xperia p and its working well. Or maybe is there any hardware issues???

you are saying the Sony Stock 4.2 rom isn't it?
Xperia P won't get the stock v4.2...
may or may not be because Sony declared the release of 4.1 for P,S,Ion etc unexpectedly (atleast it was very much unexpected to me). So we cannot say P won't be getting 4.2, it may get. And even if it doesn't then the developers will try to port 4.2 to Xperia P and they won't try to port it to Xperia U (expectations are less due to its RAM but I'm asking just like that)?
Sony does NOT believe the novathor chipset can take 4.2
Novathor: chipset used in xperia p, u, go, sola

No we'll not be getting stock android 4.2.2 coz sony isn't developing it for any devices like P,GO,S etc. But xpu has an 4.2.2 rom based on cm10.1 developed by team canjica
