Hi all,
Can't find a solution to this - the screen switches on after the phone is charged to 100% and stays on. Happens overnight while it charges when im asleep. Don't like the idea of the screen staying on for so long.
No one?

nope that didnt work damn it lol, its not a big issue at the mo, but on resale point of view its not good
Check your settings.
Go into developer options and make
Sure " stay awake " isn't checked,
As this forces the screen to stay
when on charge
Sorry just re read your post
and see exacly the opposite
is happening with your phone

Which Rom are you using??
This problem started when I flashed the 3rd preview build of cm10.. after that I flashed back to stock ics but still the problem was there.
If you put the battery back in immediately after pulling it off, the phone will turn on again by itself.. you have to wait for some time and the put the battery back.

I will try that see what happens, took battery out for 2 hours see if that worked and nothing

Try re-flashing? Otherwise return it.. should be covered by the warranty
Had the the same issue, only a complete wipe solved it for me.

Go to settings-storage-other and tick everything. You will loose some data. Then reboot to download mod and flash firmware again. Now the problem is solved!
All sorted thanks to uvaman, used task manager shut down running apps took battery out and left over night, thank to everyone that gave advise

Did that.. all in vain.. and also.. when I put it for charging.. the battery icon keeps flickering withiut me even trying to switch the phone on..
Had this issue once. Take out the battery for 5-10 minutes or more, then put it back in and let it charge for a few minutes before you try turning it on. If the screen still flashes, take the battery out longer.
This is why you shouldn't let it discharge all the way.

Or consider that the replacement battery may not be compatible with your phone. Is it an exact OEM replacement?

Possibly. Why not buy a charger, if you do not have one?

Are you trying to charge it via your laptop? Why not use wall charger? I am a little bit confused on why you are not using a wall charger.

See if you can start your phone in download mode with just the USB hooked up to a computer. Without a battery.

Hey
I have aproblem that is so strange!
For example when I turn off my mobile it restarts!
Even if I pull out the battery and put it in it just power on automatically! !
Sometimes if the phone successfully was turent off, when I press any button it indicates that it is charging!
And now the battery is full even though am using it for around 2hrs
So my question is: is it a phone hardware or battery issue?

I've seen symptoms similar to this when the usb port has suffered damage. ......
Can you transfer files to and from a pc?

mine was like that after moisture damage and then a wrong charger it gets ok after time, it started charging the battery to 5.00v instead of 4.2 n all, stop charging that battery at 95% for like 10 charges and it will come back to normal in no time

as i said it just went away after a while i think the problem is being caused by overcharge, so when u keep charging it to 95% the voltages come back to normal.
In other words charge it till 95% for like 10 charges and it will be fixed.
Well gonna try and reply back thanks
