Hello Devs,Me And My Friend Started working On a joy os and lewa os Port For the u20i but we noticed all the releases wouldnt get past the kernel logo but the fact is were using naa GB kernels And Our roms are based on minicm7 Please Devs Especially paul-xxx and nAa and anyone else who can help and another thing wed like you to notice is that we didnt resize anything we tried to port some joyos and lewa from deviced with same resolution 240x320 like the htc tatoo the galaxy fit and the htc wildfire(not the s) but cant get past kernel logo
I'd help you with porting but my PC's gone and melted it's motherboard... try getting a logcat and I'll see what I can do

LOL me and My friend just closed team viewer on a fail to get logcat apparently needs to reach boot animation to get logcat any other ideas?

Now i knew the reason thanks to you, ive been wondering for so long whg they didnt port x10 to x8, i saw some dev says that we cannot port x10 to x8 because x8 using arm 6 while x10 arm 7, but other dev didnt agree with that. But regardless,like u said just wait for new xperia mini.well, i cant hardly waitX(

im not porting from wildfire cuz wildfire s not same resolution im trying lots of deviced with same resolution like galaxy fit and htc tatoo
The wildfire is same resolution. Wildfire s isn't. I will help as soon as I have a working PC

You could port from X8, it's closer hardware wise but you'd have to resize the images.

Hmm, photoshop is a must probably but you'd have to edit the images and stuff... I'd help but I'm working on a netbook right now. here's an idea of the speed. a Linux live-CD works faster than the win7 on it...... Trying to port ParanoidAndroid from the X8 and if it works I'll help with the X8 version of this

i have photoshop cs5 and i can use it really good but i dunt know which files to edit and how to open in ps and so

you'd probably have to decompile the apk or open it as a zip in something like 7zip or winzip then edit the files in res/drawable or drawable-mdpi to drawable-ldpi

whats the rom and kernel u are using right now? try a perfectly stable rom..for example..stock 4.0.4 .. and check if u still got the problem.. by the way,is that screenshot from stock 4.0.4?
p.s. if switching roms/kernels dont work..it has to be a hardware issue.

What rom u r using, and which version, kernel, bootloader, etc.
Then people can help you based on their exp. and knowl.

Rom version 8/12 the newest one kernel 2.6.29.bootloader. regular bootloader of donut hd and implimented xrecovrry

It seems you are using DonutHD 2.3, locked bootloader.
This rom still on testing stage, as i can see lots of room for improvement. There is some typo in the build.prob and need to re-flash audio stuttering fix, etc.
But all DonutHD rom versions are very light (~ 80 MB only!), lot of free ram to be used.
So, i would like to suggest you to report this issue on the Alzbac's thread, then it will help him to fix it on the final version for DonutHD 2.3.
