Hello all
I am on a SK17i with a custom ROM and custom Kernel.
I want to go back to the stock ROM and I have the FTF file for that and I'll be using the flash tool.
My question is:
do I have to flash the stock kernel first? and if yes where to find it?
or will the ftf file flash the proper Kernel automatically?
is there any specific Steps before I start?
Thanks

Okey so im facing the following issue here: I have the FXP v136 9.1 Rom/kernel at the moment but i want to revert it to stock.
however, my backup is gone because my SSD died. sooo, how would i get the stock rom/kernel back? (i could download the 6.1.A.2.45 stock ROM) and flash this through clockwork recovery (not sure how you call it, the fastboot recovery mode)
however, i dont have the kernel (unless its in the 6.1.A.2.45 ROM file)
not sure what i have to do here
just flash stock 2.45 firmware using flastool with flash mode

Well, you could always flash Advanced Stock Kernel and find a stock FTF. You can rename the FTF to zip and extract the kernel and flash it.
Please hit the thanks button if I helped

yes just find the original firmware .ftf file and flash via flashtool.
Flash Stock Rom .ftf file or restore from Nandroid Backup if u have created one..
But After flashing to stock.. Root will go..
If u restore from Nandroid backup.. U will retain your root

Download the .ftf file for your particular device from above thread... And then just flash the downloaded file by flashtool...
You will loose your root (bootloader will remain unlocked if you unlocked it previously)
press thanks if I helped you

Hi all!
I want to update my Sola from cm9, actually working, to [ROM] [JB] eXperience Innovation.
First i need to flash the base rom of Munjeni, that requires to flash .54 ftf via flashtool and boot it properly, so, what gotta do to flash .54?
I know about TheBrainsKernel - ICS, but i didn't understand if first i have to flash a new official stock rom, or what else!
What i have to do first?
Thanks!
Flash stock .54 ics tft as it has the same file system as jb. Let it settle. Then extract kernel from munjenis rom, copy zip to phone, fastboot flash of that kernel, boot to cwm and flash the zip, cleAr data, cache and dalvik. Reboot and let it settle, then follow the instructions for the other rom.

Ok, but how can I flash the .54? Always with fastboot, or it's possible to flash it like with cwm?

Use flashtool....
Ok, finally i got it! actually i flashed XV-R 4.1.2!
Now i was thinking about trying some rom with 4.2.2, but i saw that is changed flashtool, now it has to be installed and it has a ui.
How it should be used? can you help me?
I have installed CM9.1 in my SK17i. I havent done anything with my phone after flashing this custom rom.
Now i want to go back to stock rom.
My questions are
1. Is it possible to flash a stock rom via clockwork ? If yes then i will need a flashable stock rom. Yes? From where can i get it?
2. If the above is not possible, which is the next option available?
There should be a prerooted rom.zip in the development forums to flash it in cwm
But if I were you I'd just download the stock rom .ftf and flash it using flashtool in flashmode

I did not mean flashtool by Sony, I meant flashtool listed in development section. Try that one
