Pff again a thread like this:/
A simple way is, flash 4.0.3 firmware so you are back on Android 4.0.3 root it and do the OTA (over the air)
Then you have 4.0.4 rooted
Done.

Since I see you are able to write and click few buttons to post, use that knowledge to click on search and to search a bit in Neo section. There are numerous threads regarding GB root.

First, you can't damage your device by trying to root.
Second, if you find something, and you're not sure, post the link here and someone will say if it's ok or not.

And mpiekp's method is not direct! I am looking for a direct method.

Right now it's the only way for locked bl.......
Really restore a backup and flash a kernel is hardly a taxing method, if that's too much effort why not just wait.........

If you can't understand what's written on here, have a look on youtube and you'll find some video guides to follow. It should make things easier for you.

i have try to watch at you tube before, but i can't do oso =.=
I'm guessing that rooting isn't your best option then to be honest. But if you are determined to root your device, then your best option is to wait until you are better able to understand what the guides say.
That's the best I can for you, unfortunately.
