Does anyone have suggestions on where to find better ring tones than the stock ones on the Galaxy S3?
I like me a regular old ring tone, not a song or anything like that. Anyone know where to find some NORMAL ring tones (free preferably)? Thanks gang.

Some reviewers have said that downloading ring tones from Zedge has spammed them with full page porn ads! Sounds malicious, no? Any truth to that?
Never have had that happen and I have been using it since I got my S2 a year and a half ago.

The only ringtones I'll ever need are the classic Ericsson tones. Man I miss my T28 World:
Ericsson High, Medium, Low Pitch and my favorite: Mixed.

eh, I like the HTC flashlight app better for its simplicity and three step brightness. I found the apk from either the sensation or the EVO 3d, it works but you have to tap above and to the left of the button by about an inch. I don't know why that is but otherwise works fine.
its bc they are different screen resolutions i think
It's a sense 2.1 app, not completely compatable with 3.5.

Tesla has various options for different brightness and even strobe/etc.
I personally like this one.

I like that one too. And this one just as much:

I like Tiny Flashlight because it has two screen lights, one white and one you can color how you like. But I like Color Flashlight HD because you can dim it but there's only one screen light so you have to change the color if you want it different. Although since it can be dimmed I might not care about color. I just want something low light that I can use to help me see menus in dark restaurants. Or else I guess I could start dating guys that aren't embarrassed to be seen with me. lol.
And I like the extras on both. Don't know when I would actually need or use them, but I like them. Especially the warning lights and the text.

I posted the htc flashlight in another thread. Our phone has the plugin which is needed but not the app. I have it installed but it only has one setting that works

I was just wondering if anybody coild help me fix this. Im having to unlock my phone before answering my phone. I deleted the htc lockscreen which i know thats the problem. But i wanna be able to get around putting it back on... Thanks

Which lockscreen did you delete? The One that's icon shows up in your app drawer or the actual lockscreen?
Sent from my HTC_Amaze_4G using Tapatalk 2 Beta-2
Anytime you delete the Htc Lockscreen and use the Default one it screws up incoming calls. It has to do with the way that Htc programmed the Dialer.
My suggestion is to use something like Go locker.
the actual lockscreen

So should i just forget about it?
Sent from my HTC_Amaze_4G using xda premium
Like Craig said, use Go locker and call it a day

i'll have sense 3.5 or I would extract the apk and post it...anyone can just extract the apk and post it if you're willing to use the regular lockscreen. otherwise like other's said use a third party lockscreen, I love widgetlocker!!! its the best

Does the S3 have the 'White on black' future like the iphone ?
What is the best and fastest way to transfer files between S3 and my Mac ?
Thanks for answering.
What is white on black?
Sound like a movie I rented once..

fastest way would be to NOT use Kies
switch from mtp to usb debugging, and use a program like TeraCopy.

so does anyone have any cool little DNA tricks that they found out? I just realized that you can pinch to zoom in the battery info graph built into sense now... so you can expand and see each hour or shorten it to get your full day view. pretty neat!

Me neither. Neat feature.
I have to say that I really am enjoying this latest version of Sense. It's a LOT less intrusive than past versions, and doesnt seem to have any major impacts on battery life.
It's like they took out all the crappy nonsense no one liked, allowed android to shine through where its better, and kept only the useful features of Sense. I like it.

For apps with long lists of items like music or messaging, you can scroll through by letter or date by using two fingers at once.
On the call screen before making a call. Press menu and you can open a fullscreen keypad for dialing
I know most probably know this but:
Once you fill up all 5 screens you can attempt to add another app or widget and it will populate a new blank screen for you. Also if you pinch to zoom at one of the home screens, it will give you an option at the top to add a panel (screen).
