I have brighthouse cable in Florida, pay for hd dvr, Internet, sports pass... The works, so I'm not trying to scam anyone. I download the brighthouse tv app where you can stream cable tv shows, go to log in, and it says "streaming video is not supported on rooted devices". How does it know I'm rooted? Can I spoof it and make the app think I'm not rooted? Any input would be great! Thanks!

I tried both and neither worked for me with this app. Somehow the app is able to detect root anyway.

Live TV no. Just digital cable and road runner internet. As for the Dvr recording you just need a Dvr converter and digital cable.

And, certain MHL adapters don't work with the Rezound. It is really a hit or miss.
Did you looks through the Accessories section? I know a within a couple months after the phone came out there were a few threads about it. Looks like a few more now:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/search.php?searchid=66115450
People have definitely gotten it working using one of the adapters from monoprice.com
One or more of the threads has a link to the one that works with this phone.
If you have good wireless in your house, you can use imediashare, or other apps from the playstore. Put them both on your network, and you should be able to stream from phone to ps3.

MHL adapter. You will get no other answer.
I researched them a while back. The mhl adapter needs to be plugged in and I think it has to be done in a certain order. I think there are videos on YouTube and I think there was a thread somewhere on XDA about it.

You can download video's from you android and save them on your SD card!
You also download as Mp3 and tagged as them as such!(similar fashion to iTunes)

?? What is so special about this one... Tubemate is still around and it downloads MP3 as well.
Only thing that holds me back from buying is I have been using a computer version of a YouTube downloader and it has to get updated every now and then to be able to download certain videos. This not being in the app store makes me feel funny about getting those updates and it not being able to download all videos I want.
Anyone wanna chime in on this?

If you don't have adaway installed you need to install it. A quick google search will point you in the right direction to the apk since it was removed from play. Once installed, press disable. You can enable and disable all you want.
