This mod is for RezRom S4 1.2 ONLY! This will remove the location icon from the status bar instead of making the images transparent. Thanks to Bored for the awesome rom!!! Here is his rom.

I HIGHLY recommend it! Here is the download to remove the location icon. You can flash this in recovery. This is the stock SystemUI and not modded in any way except for the icon removal.

it will work, but if bored changed anything in SystemUI from 1.2 to 1.3B1, then boreds changes will be reverted to 1.2
i dont think bored changed anything in systemUI so this should be good to flash on 1.2 or 1.3B1

How to install it ?
Copy the SystemUI-V2.apk from this post into system/app and set the permission rw-r-r--
and rename the existing one to SystemUI.apk2
and now rename the new ( V2) one to SystemUI.apk , this will prevent the confilict ( like i encountered , when i disabled the old one and dont renamed the new one !! )
And then reboot

NEWS: New update is on the way
Updated.. you can download it now
Great Job... One more favor though...
I like the new icons on your 1.1 update which was based on stock AOSP ICS icons. But can you also provide another one with percentage? I think its really helpful when charging our phones because through it, we will know if its exactly 100% fully charged. Or maybe, a cool icon with percentage inside it. Thanks a lot. I'm looking forward for your next update too. I hope the 14 toggles are already there. :good:

The navbar color works but there's no change with the statusbar (Nexus 5 4.4.2).
I have attached a logcat when applying the white color for the statusbar.

I use android tuner for the start up manager. And when I select battery manager app not to run on start up and reboot the icon does not show and the app still works. I'm sure boot manager for xposed would have same effect.
