Samsung movies - Galaxy S III Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I bought the galaxy tab when it came out and there was an offer of downloading 20 movies. I download it and it used to work fine on my tab but now i try to use it on my galaxy s3 and it does not work no matter what i do.
Is the licence bound to the tab or like the movies on iTunes once you have it you can use it on all your IOS devices?

Google Movies

I know there was a leaked apk that turned off root check so we can watch the Market Movies. Does anyone know if there is a working one for the Tab?
Sent from a Galaxy Tab 10.1
I couldn't find one...it kept force quitting on my Tab (Wifi).

Streaming to Tab 10.1 from SGS2

I currently own a Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 Wifi and a Galaxy S2
What I would like to do is stream a video file from my Galaxy S2 and have it display on my Tab.
I would still like to retain control over play/pause and such on the GS2
Is this is possible or not?
Basically I want to mount the Tab on the back of the seat in the car so my daughter can have movies on during long drives.
She is however too young to be able to control the tab herself so if she were to decide she wanted a different movie on or the current movie ended I would have to first find a place to pull over before I could do anything about it.
If I could control it all from my SGS2 it would make it much easier.

[Q] Galaxy Player 5 & Samsung SmartTV & Media Sharing

Hello,
I'm posting here because I'm not making progress with Samsung support.
I'm no expert so please be patient with me.
I own a NAS drive with Twonky 6 media sharing. I can access the media shares
through Samsung Link on my new SmartTV (UN32EH5300) successfully. But I want more.
I'd like to access the shares and send them to the SmartTV from my Galaxy Player 5.
My first effort to do this involved the predecessor to Samsung Link - Samsung AllShare
This app comes with the factory firmware (Gingerbread 2.3.5) for the Galaxy Player.
AllShare cannot detect the SmartTV. Thinking it might be a router problem, I opened the UDP 1900
and TCP 2869 UPnP ports for the TV. No help. Samsung support told me it might be a firmware
problem on the Galaxy Player. As there is no Samsung firmware update available, I began
acquainting myself with the subject of custom ROMs. However, I've read that most
custom ROM's do not support AllShare. Alternatively, I cannot install Samsung Link on the
Galaxy Player; I receive a message that it is not supported for this version of the Galaxy
Player. Does anyone have an idea to get the Galaxy Player to recognize the SmartTV through
Samsung AllShare/Samsung Link or something else?
Next, I started downloading UPnP apps from Google. I tried BubbleUPnP, Twonky Beam,
ZappoTV, etc. None of these Android apps would recognize the SmartTV. I even installed
a couple of UPnP "detectors" - apps that should list available UPnP devices. These also
failed to detect the SmartTV. There are quite a few apps for UPnP. Might one that I have not
tried work? Does anyone have a recommendation for one that might work?
If this can be accomplished with a custom ROM, I might try it. I just wonder how many
stock apps I might lose on the upgraded Galaxy Player. I'd appreciate any suggestions.
Thanks,
Bob

[Q] Debating on buying a new tablet. One question.

Hi everyone. I am thinking about buying a Samsung Galaxy Tab S for my grandma. She watches her shows on tv but when she misses a show, she always asks me to put it on my laptop for her to watch. This gets in the way of my work and it's very annoying. I found out that Adobe does not support flash player for android anymore. The tv shows that she misses, she usually watches online. If I get her the Galaxy Tab S, will the online videos still work? Is there an alternative to Adobe Flash Player that the online videos that use Flash will use? If so can you please list the names of them? I just do not want to buy a tablet and find out that the shows do not work. She does not use one specific website for her shows. We just type the shows name on Google and we type the date and whatever comes up we just use it. Usually we only use 3 websites.

Adobe Rush Not compatible

Hello
Does anyone else have the problem that the app Adobe Rush isn't compatible with the Galaxy Tab S6?
I saw many videos with people using it with there Tab S6 but it doesn't show up for me on the store and if I Google it I find it on the Chrome Version Android Store but then it shows me that it isn't compatible..
Any ideas why? I have the Galaxy Tab S6 128GB WiFi Version.
Anyone maybe able to share the APK from it?
I'm pretty sure I've seen a reviewer talking about Samsung's App store. Can you try there?
That's it!
Never thought that there may be a Samsung Version! of Adobe Rush in the Samsung Store.
Thanks !
Yes, you can find Adobe Rush on Samsung Store. Unfortunately with the free version you have only 3 video exports, and then monthly subscription.
I can recomend to you the free GoPro app - Quik - for amateur and semi pro videos is perfect:
