hey guys, i realize im a junior member but i have trawled through countless FAQs.
i was recently on an ICS Hydrog3n ROM; and after installing nova launcher prime notification (aka vibration and tones) for the messaging app (not gosms etc. they work fine) suddenly stop working as well as not showing up in the notification bar.
I flashed a new rom (RR AROMA) to see if it would help, but nope. the messaging up still fails to notify me. i love the simplicity of it and i really dont want to resort to gosms. please and thank you.

Since 2.3.3 update on X10 (stock & rooted), no led-color notification customization app seems to work. Especially chompSMS crashes everytime, when i try to access the notification settings menu.
Is there any way to fix this?

No prob here. K-9 e-Mail shows different colours for notification of different accounts. So no need to generalise it.

Hello all! I recently rooted my Samsung Epic 4G Touch and installed PhantomHacker's Blazer ROM v3.5 and ran into some small appearance issues. It seems that everything has installed properly other than some of the visual elements (Unless qbking77 themed his ROM in his video and I missed him mentioning it). I have the proper boot and power off animations and I have the all the proper status bar icons. However, I am missing all the other things such as all of the altered icons, the pull down notification bar, and the messaging app. I've noticed it's all stock basically, other than the few things I mentioned. Any mistakes on my part? I hope there's an easy fix for this! Thanks in advance!
It's been pretty much stock themed for a while now, he's got a few themes for it, but its been a while since he's had the time to update them to the newer versions. If you check out the e4gt section, there are several compatible themes in the them section you can flash on it, or wait until PhantomHacker gets his fixed up.
So qbking77's video is of an older version of Blazer when it was themed? Thanks for the answer!
Hello! Brand new here.. although I've been lurking for quite some time as a guest. Here is my first question: Is there a way to disable the text messenger application is this ROM? I want to use Handcent in place of this bland application.. The disable button is..disabled. I want the lock screen to go to the Handcent application like I can enable it to do on the stock ICS ROM. I hate Samsung's default SMS application.
Fonts are too big (I'm using Tiny size fonts), delivery reports comes as a seperate notification, no vibration options etc.
It is also ugly.
Is there any way to install Cyanogenmod's SMS application to Samsung based roms?
It would be great to install CM10's latest sms app to our LI1 based JB roms.
There are great features like Quick Reply etc.

Edit: Btw, I don't want Go Sms or Handcent Sms, don't suggest them. I just want Cyanogenmod Sms.
And I don't want to use CM10 since there are memory leak issue and Camera app is not functional as stock samsung.

I´m using Hairybean 2.2 RC1 and JB 4.2 launcher. It seems really good but with couple questions concerning the new notification bar.
The upper bar, where notifications and quicksettings are, hides with some apps. Eg. MX-player and games. I cant open them without going to previous apps selection or home.
Is this a more of an apps developers problem or just an feature in the new launcher? Or could it be a problem in ROM?
I haven´t tried any other ROMs cause, I have a replacement digitizer which inverts the X-axis. With Hairybean I can use that invertaxis.zip kernell.

I´ve tried to search the forums for any comments on this matter but could not find any.
I do like the new notification bars, so I would prefer to keep them. Don´t wanna go back to the old 4.1 launcher. Although the movement of the back/home/recent apps- buttons to the center wasn´t so good improvement.
