[Q] Wifi modules for champswimmer's custom kernel - XPERIA X10 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Flashed champswimmer's CM9 kernel and the Xperia S ICS rom and the wifi modules that came with the kernel, but wifi still refuses to turn on. Anyone know how to fix this?

Yup, running the Xperia S ICS rom as well, which requires that

[HELP] regarding network mode(lww)

Friends . i'm a sony lww user and recently i updated my sony lww from 4.1.b.0.431 to 4.1.b.0.587 . .But after that if the 3g coverage goes too low. The network mode automaticallly changes to Wcdma(preferred)/Gsm
but i don't want that.. I want wcdma only even in low coverage areas.. I've noticed this after upgrading to .587 .
So experts.. Is there anything i should edit to solve the problem.. Can anyone help me out..
I noticed that too and its a bigtime bug in that. Bugs of 587 are just too much to deal with and that's why rooted my cell and installed a stock based rom.
No solution known to me on an unrooted phone for that issue

If your phone is rooted then just flash a Stock Based Custom ROM
Sent from my Xperia Mini using xda premium
I think that stock .587 roms also have this issue, because it's stock based.

[Q] Problem with Mesa hybrid kernel

Hello. Today I flashed the latest Mesa hybrid kernel in my Sk17a, but now my phone reboots when the screen is turned off. Does anyone have any idea how to fix this? I use CM10 FXP 205.
Try to post your question there:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1715679
I had the same problem with the hybrid one and just took the non-hybrid one and everything is fine.

You should post in the thread to give the developer a chance to fix it, we have nothing to do here.

The nAa jb and .xx kernels are only fully functional when they are running on nAa minicm10 ROMs, specifically latest nightly builds.

delete the old wifi modules and restart the phone
or
reflash the rom without wiping anything
