I get 25 down at my house and in my room i have one of those apple wifi extender things that plugs into a wall outlet. For some reason when connected to the wifi extender i get only 6 down. This should still be enough for HD youtube since i can still play HD netflix through it however video costantly stops and starts. Has any one else expeienced this? Is there a certain download speed needed for youtube?

i believe thats because using the browser to load youtube disables HD
if you turn HD off via the app it'll load better..... but buffering just suck on the prime... sadly enough =[

Has anybody tried Jetflicks on their Prime yet? I have had no luck in any browser I've tried so far (stock, dolphin, opera and firefox). If anyone's had any success, please let me know what browser you used. Also, I'm thinking it might be a problem with the stock video player. Is it possible to change the stock video player?

I have been using Jetflicks on eee pad Transformer TF101. So far it has worked on Dolphin HD for only one of the shows that I watch... no other shows worked for me.
So I launch Jetflicks on Firefox instead. On Firefox, the show gets downloaded (in php format) and when it gets downloaded I pick Rock Player from the popup menu to play the video.
Once again, no other video player worked for me, including MX Player and Mobo Player.
This is the only way I have been able to work on my TF101.
And resolution is not that great on fullscreen mode but I can live with that.
And why is it that Jetflicks has CSI and CSI:Miami but not CSI:NY?
err

I have discovered a nasty little bug in the prime, mainly that the wifi (without BT on, mind you) is so slow that I cant even stream a 240p video without it buffering and stopping every few seconds. Can the rest of you stream video fine? (Not only from the YouTube app but from online sources)
I can see streams from Justin.tv at 720+ resolution without problems. Is it just happening on your prime? Can you see the same streams fine on a PC or laptop via wireless?

Yeah, it works just fine on my laptop.
Can you guys stream any nbc.com full episodes? I used to be able to. What format do they use now cause my brothers new ipad can stream. I wonder how many other sites are gonna go this route. I'd hate for this to happen as this is one reason I went with the prime.

Using Overskreen browser works fine. Opera mobile doesn't seem to work. So more then likely a browser issue.

What about your stock browser or ice+? I cant get neither to work.
Funny, I figured stock browser using request desktop site settings would work but I just tried it and no go, which is unusual. Even HBOGO works that way. Also tried Firefox and same thing on nbc. Not available for device.
I tried it on the Boat browser. The stream plays with sound and audio when the show starts then 15 seconds into it the video stops but the sound continues. If I switch screen size then I get video again for another 15 seconds. It is like they are injecting something into the stream that is messing everything up.
From what my brother tells me nbc.com uses quicktime on the iPad or quicktime can interpret the video or something to that effect.
Just for grins I checked abc and cbs and they both play just fine. I have User Agent set to desktop.
works also on Dolphin HD but does not on stock browser. Says "It's not currently available for this device."

That's interesting I didn't think it would work on dolphin and not stock. I'll give it a try
So I'm trying to find a ROM that doesn't reboot every time I watch YouTube/Netflix (apps) or stream video from my server.... So far I haven't found one, has anyone had luck with this yet?
The only way I can watch a movie on my tablet is to put it on my SDCard.....

Streaming video doesn't crash on CyanogenMod, or at least, it hasn't happened to me. I haven't used them for a couple of months, but I don't remember AOKP or gummy crashing on streaming video.
i have uploaded the live extra olypic app from nbc. I DL'd it on my DINC2 -->titanium backup--->extract---->install on my ATP. it works decent, every now and again it goes slow-mo. a quick home screen press and recent app open seens to fix. i have read that it is a tegra 3 issue.

You should change the topic to be more descriptive.
You can download the app here:
NBCOlympics.com
People searching for this know that the app is flagged as incompatible. I you cannot download it from nbcolympics as it just provides a play store link

Interesting app. It does ask who your TV provider is and made me log in to my FiOS account.
An Olympics fan with a Prime who doesn't have an android device will appreciate your sharing of the app.
After reading how you did it, I did it for myself to my phone from the market, then used Root Explorer to find air.com.nbcuni.com.nbcsports.liveextra-1.apk in /data/apps. Then I sent it to my cloud storage so the Prime can access it. Works just like you said.

It works great. I simply downloaded the APK...
It's a shame that they don't support Tegra 3......
It says I don't have a subscription. Is there anything I can do about that? I don't have MSNBC I don't think. All I have is dish network kids pack. I REALLY want to watch the Olympics!

When I try to install the first time I get an error message saying something like "There was a problem parsing this package." Then I tried it a second time, and the install worked, but it keeps going into slow motion. Any idea why?
I'm on a stock transformer prime.
The slow motion that happens after the first few seconds of video playback can be worked around by pressing your home button. Then, open the recent programs and go back to Live Extra. The video will play back fine.
