i've bought Sony Xperia S 2 Days ago... i've flashed the rom [XperiaS][ROM][4.0.4]MooDeD ICS 90.6[AROMA][AXP][xTreme][ThunderBolt][xFast]... its really smoooth... but the sound in headset is really worst.... and its tooo low... i've installed the beats files but they didn't made any difference to sound or bass..... so is there any solution for that to get a good sound quality on default Walkman player...???
I don't know. My X S plays very well..

which music app do u use...? and which headset u use?
Don't flash crappy ROMs. And yes, any ROM that has over two (in our case, three) tags in the title is crappy.

Hi guys, I have big problem.
When i had my S2 with stock roms all headphones work great for me, after flashing some romes sound on sony/creative headphones is quiet, but when I'am using original headphones(included in samsung s2 box) sound is good, can You tell me what is wrong? I can see, jack is different in this original samsung heaphones, because of microphone right? Can i do something to have good sound not only on original headphones? Thank You in advance
Sorry for my english...
Voodoo Control
You should try to install "voodoo control" from the market (is free)...it should improve sound quality, fix audio issues present in Samsung kernels and unleash the powerful hi-fi headphone amplifier included in your phone.
Just give it a try ...
Ok i solved this using perma, wipe and install rom again

on good hardware you dont need an EQ ! an EQ is only needed to let bad speaker sound a bit better ...
maybe an bassboost is ok to help the small drivers in earphones

you say that....but all the most expensive & sought-after amplifiers have equalizers.....an equalizer makes rubbish hardware bearable & good hardware into incredible machines....so yea....an equalizer is needed no matter what platform it is
---------- Post added at 08:36 PM ---------- Previous post was at 08:34 PM ----------
btw....i have the apk of this app....& i really like the looks of it but the equalizer option takes me to my dsp manager instead of the app's own equalizer settings....also it crashes everytime i go to albums tab
Looks excellent mate btw in youtube Xperia S videos this player and equalizer is used on Xperia S.Also Flamemo's Xperia S theme v3 have this player and half working on our phones :/
Hope Sony will give this player to all the 2011,2012 Xperia line up instead just 2012 line up
Man I miss good old Clearbass from my earlier walkman phones

I don't notice that much different between playerpro and poweramp tbh.Just that after installing power amp for 2-3 days(cracked version ) it just stops working for me No idea why.But player pro works good for a week now.Btw player pro default 5 bar equalizer is kinda better than dsp pack for player pro.Anyway if Sony is giving us the real clear bass equalizer non of these aftermarket players even can stand a chance in terms of quality

i have DSP Manager bundled with Omega Black/Blue ICS...
Beats audio is only well integrated with HTC phones.
Even in the resurrection rom it doesnt really enhance quality.
Its just placebo effect. The max that you can do is get dsp manager thats all!

That's not true!
The Galaxy S2 has, in fact, terrible audio quality. This is due to poor quality hardware components (namely the Yamaha DAC).
There are two things you can do.
You can follow the advice of Kaffee4Eck and use voodoo louder, what won't help THAT much. Or you can get an external DAC (like the FiiO E7). This will give you superb sound quality, that no iPhone or HTC will get close to. However, you'll have to stick with CyanogenMod for it to work, it's less portable, because you'll have an additional device in your pocket and I'm not sure if you'll be pleased with it. I'm not sure because:
a) you've got beats and
b) you say that the problem is that they aren't "booming" like on you HTC.
I don't know you, so I can't tell, but too me it looks like you don't like sound quality, but pure bass. I cannot tell if the FiiO is good for that kind of job.
Thanks for advice Sniper i dont fancy paying £60 for additional device was hoping that there would have been a software mod worth trying

As mentioned earlier, voodoo louder. You just need the app on a compatible kernel.
The most importent thing - speakers. I love the original Samsung headphones!

Just gotta ask:
Have you ever used "real" headphones?
My phone good audio quality stock rom and any other rom .
Samsung stock phones .
Sound level on stock over 50% is to high .
Slight addition to a better quality is Volume Plus free old version app and a pair of
ViSang R02 in ear buds .
jje
Try them until you find one that works and meets your audio needs

Need sound mod as [Universal]AC!DAudioEngine[v5.0]_signed for GB
Bro, it's only for ICS, because som mods/apps requied Android 4.0. Try Beats Adio mod, it's for 2.3+
sounds mods make not much difference anyway.(at least to me)
If they do have difference you need to have a good headset.do not expect much from the stock ones.
find a good music player and the right settings in equalizer will make almost the same effect.
poweramp app works great for me.

Meh? I can hear the difference with my stock headset, using beats audio MOD. But I didn't like it anyway. Overwhelmed bass and I cant hear midrange clearly. Better not use that beats sound mod
I think best mod for GB is DSP Manager. If I found flashable .zip, I will edit this post and give lik to this
