Oh...sorry, I mean Easy MP3 Downloader Pro v2.
Any music app that allows you to download music tracks and listen to them while offline?
Certain music apps require an internet connection to play the downloaded tracks.
I didn't realise piracy was encouraged on this site.

Thanks. Does it also save the songs to some place on the phone?
I can never seem to locate the songs on the phone.
Reason: I want to be able to send these music files via BT to another device.

Where does piracy come into it? No one has mentioned illegally downloading music.
I'm happy to find a good app for downloading mp3 and paying for them.
If anyone knows any please tell me

So what you're saying is that these people are searching for public domain music with these applications? Yeah, right. There's dedicated services for obtaining public domain music and paid music, none of which the above suggestions are.
The idea of these apps is that when you download a song you will delete it after listening to it. Covers the developer, but yes, they are technically illegal. How is obtaining free music not illegal? And who is going to delete the song afterwards anyway? XDA doesn't promote illegal file downloading, also it is a website for “developing," not comparing music downloaders.

It's certainly not.
I sincerely hope these applications are for buying the music concerned. However I suspect not, therefore, thread closed.

mp3 music download super
it is free on market -please hit the thanks button
So the problem is with the mp3 thumbnails.
I used "mp3tag" on the computer to add thumbnails to songs.
So on the computer I can see any song's thumbnail when I launch it with Music Player but when I put all the songs on my Galaxy S2's memory card and play it, the player always show's the same thumbnail..
It take's the thumbnail from the first song and always show's it no matter what song I choose to play..
I tried the stock music player, doubleTwist and Rocket Player and all of them do the same..
All the song's are mp3 and the tag is "ID3v2.3 (ID3v1 ID3v2.3)"
Samsung Galaxy S2, ROM: WanamLite v13 (4.1.2)
I get this, I get the same one or two thumbnails across many many tracks which is annoying. I would rather the same Samsung one all the way through tbf!

Just a quick question to see which music player app gets the thumbs up :good:
I'm currenty using n7Player and it's ok but i have to manually scan when i've added new albums.
I'm not a fan of the stock player as the windget has limitations.
Google it and you'll find plenty comparisons and reviews
did that @ Glebun, so i just thought i'd post it in the Q&A to see what others thought.
I agree with you, stock player is trashy. I prefer winamp.

There is a music player review in Themes and Apps probably but not certain by Nick Fury .
jje
There's no better player out there than PowerAMP (pay version). Bought it at full price and it's one of the best apps I've every bought.
stock player "Music Player"
I prefer the google "play music" app. Its easier to use plus the widget is better.

Poweramp....no questions, the best by a long way
Poweramp user here too.
i use the stock music player with AC!D mod. Really good for me.
Best player
I use apollo or stock music player.
Stock player by me
It is enough
Just saying the name of the player has no value or usefulness, at least try to explain why you prefer it.
R: [Q] Which music player are you using for s3?
Double twist.
(@ glebun: y u keep spamming bro? XD)
I use it cuz its got a very fluid interface plus it downloads album images (i guess most do) but it reminds me of the ios player simplicity. Very good, i like it more than others try it.

Oh and by the way, im gonna also support the poweramp cause because its the only music app ive tried that has the very low loading times between songs just like ios (almost instant...but i dont mind using double twist even thou it doesnt have that feature)

To be fair to everyone i did only ask which player people were using. not for an explanation as to why they're using it. just wanted a general idea of what app folk are using out there for music. Thinking of giving Poweramp a go!
Thanks for the replies.
I'm so frustrated. I've looked in all the 'similar threads'; looked on other websites. Tried a solution that supposedly worked for the S2 and S4...but no luck.
I've purchased music from google play store, I've "pinned it" to my device, aka downloaded it...but it's not in my com.data\android.music\cache file. I can play the songs without any sort of network connection so i know they're on my device. I want to play them in other music players but can't find them. Seems i'm not the only one having this problem. Is there any solution yet?

Same problem, seriously annoyed with Google over this, I bought the music and I want to be able to play it on whatever player I choose, have emailed them over this
Hard to believe there is no solution out there... With all the people having the same problem...
You can access Google play from a computer and download the music you've purchased into a MP3 file. That's what I did.

Oh, i also like Play Music, but i have years of playlists on Spotify, so i can't leave it. Also, All Access isn't available in Norway yet. The player itself is pretty good though, and i have quite a few albums uploaded on their servers, so that's nice to have.

great interface, pretty intelligent suggestions, excellent quality (320 kbs if bandwidth sufficient), good on resources and smooth playback.

Yeah, can appreciate that. portify is about the best way to transfer playlists but I think it needs all access.
