easiest way is just restore fonts throught the app u used to change the font

Flash the file attached with CWM recovery. Don't mind about the file name or the text that appears when installing the zip on CWM.

Open it in winrar and delete the apk without closing the winrar..once u delete ..close it..don't extract or it wont work

Deleting apk from the package would result to missing app after full installation/flash. For example you delete gosms.apk from the system folder, it will not be installed.

Did you extract the winrar file when deleting the apk?

you need to check if the apk is ok for deleting. some system apps may leave you looping in boot screen when deleted.
Hello !!
I'm trying to get rid of these ugly smileys that are provided with the stock ROM.
(I'm on Arc S , .42 ROM)
I use the stock SE sms app.
I've modified my Framework-res.apk , and replaced the original SE smileys with the stock android ones (you know, these little bugdroids).
I've put back framework-res.apk in the correct folder (with root explorer), set the correct permissions, and rebooted my phone.
No bootloop or such problem.
BUT, i still get the original Sony Ericsson smileys....
I've checked again in my Framework-res.apk that is in the phone, and the simleys are the correct ones (i mean the little bugdroids).
What am i missing ? do i need to modify anything else ?

Fontchanger is causing bootloop.. please.

Use font installer in market.It's free and made by JRummy :thumbup: and it replace your phone font automatically

I did as per a instruction post
I replaced the system / fonts using 7zip
I used font creator to make the font bold italic regular as save them wid proper postscript names
I didn't touched the meta inf folder as that instruction didnt said me
I just modified the update script a bit ui_print line
Can u tell me how to change the meta data? Or refer any guide for it?
